Seems like it's not working as intended at all, since otherwise one would get aggro right away.

As for a Dev response? It's the weekend, and this is a sneak preview that probably wasn't going to happen. No devs have responded to any of the threads besides Cordovan, and he can't address if Intimidate is WAI.

In other words....wait till Monday.

Best thing to do is shelf the Intimidate changes for the time being if they can't fix it in time for the live launch of U9, then roll 'em out in U10 after they've been fixed.

I haven't bug reported it yet. I found out about it at 4:30 in the morning, was half asleep and frustrated. I haven't gotten on today but will do so tommorrow, and report it then.

Why was intimidate changed anyway?


It wasn't overpowered - and certain prestige lines are designed to be very good at pulling the agro off everyone else, then turtling up and taking a beat down.

I fail to see how a DoS or Stally is supposed to chase mobs all over the place to try and get their agro when in stance

I think that number belongs to HoX elite iirc. 79 is the magic number for epic demon queen and everything else in the game, for the moment, is below this. Imo once you get a couple over 80 the rest is meaningless. You could also get another 2 more intim by taking bullheaded but again for me it was worthless.

Has anyone tried using diplomacy or bluff to see if it really grabs the attention of the mob? Maybe a dev switched the coding for intimidate with diplomacy instead...

And you know, it also wouldn't surprise me if this made it out to live without even being fixed. After all, Lamannia is infamous for all sorts of things making its way through the server even after being bug reported by players...does anyone know if even a single bug was ACTUALLY fixed on Lammania before it went to live?

Whatever is wrong, I hope they get it fixed very quickly. Quite a few of my builds use Intimidating as either a primary strategy, or at least as a way to gain control of the situation when the excrement starts hitting the air circulation device.

I'm annoyed enough with Ki generation, don't break my tanks too.

As an aside, I'm starting to think Cordovan never sleeps.

As to the person who asked if it was admission. Hardly, Cor isn't QA. However, if you think something isn't working correctly, bug report it. If you never report it, there is zero chance it will ever get fixed. If you do report it, then there is a chance.

Slim is better than nothing.
