[QUOTE=coopercoop2003;2330562]Hello all,
I would like to get some help and advice on a tank build.
My goals .. high AC and good damage. Can solo well and still be a solid tank in raids.
I want him to be a Halfling and a pally. I have no problems multi classing.
As far as weapons… shield ( for high AC ) bastard sword or koepsh.
Was thinking some rouge for UMD.. not sure if its worth it….
These are my main wants. And I am open for others. Any other ideas would be awesome.
and its a 32 pt build
destruction breastplate and hound set for levickks is what you want to shoot for u have enough intimidate that with an item you can gater all trash mobs.

both of these classes can be very hard for a new player to play monk takes alot of twitch skills and button mashing while rogue can be a harsh lesson on aggro managment i will still make you a build just wanted to let you know before you choose one that they can be tough.

Thankyou Lifespawn.I thought I would post this here, it's a build another person made me and I figured if anyone else was interested, it might be seen more here. I don't take credit for it. It was given to me by Nyvn. Cutting as pasting now.
"I Prefer Str based build over dex builds more damage and still able to reach meaningful ac. This should be a good starting point with no tomes used, modify to taste.

You can get 3 more if you get a chattering ring/ 3 dodge on DT Armor.

Casting
Always keep Ram's Might and Barkskin on yourself, Jump is also good. The Applicable Energy resistance and Protection can also be amazing. Ie Recasting Protection from Energy: Fire when you're constantly taking fire damage is amazing. Healing don't under estimate a Ranger's ability to self/spot heal. It can make a difference."
Hope this helps anyone who might be interested.![]()
I'm working on a Favored Sould build that will primarily be melee. The end build will be 18FS/2MNK.
Priorities:
1. Ability to solo
2. Ability to act as the designated healer in a group
3. DPS
4. Taunting Tank
I may not get all 4, but if I get 1 and 2 then I'm happy.
Race: looking at 32 point elf or human.. or a drow.
Any help or thoughts are appreciated.
I have an idea I am toying around with for the new mod, and would like some help.
I want a Strength-based Halfling 7 KotC Paladin / 7 Rogue / 6 Tempest Ranger.
Priorities
1. Sneak Attack Enhancements (At least Guile III)
2. Heavy/Light Pick TWF
3. FE enhancements
4. Decent UMD/Rogue Skills (no more than 10 INT please)
I was originally considering a Zeal Tempest but I think this build will be even more fun to play. Not to mention a lot more utility in this build, and its hard to imagine life without evasion.
32 Point builds and +2 tomes are available.
I was wondering if anyone had a 28 point dwarf tempest pally build or if a build like that would even be feasible? I got the idea looking at the Demon Hunter build but honestly I don't know the game or the character building system well enough yet to even begin to try to figure out what needs to be changed or if its even worth attempting. Thanks for your time![]()
Hey there
I was wondering if i could get some help with a build...i'm looking to make a Bard that has max haggle, is able to back up heal, and also has the spellsinger enh.
Could you please also outline what the pre-req's are that are needed to take the spellsinger enh.

Hi there.
I'd like to make a very durable soloing Warchanter. I love the idea of a bard who can really get into the thick of things. Soloability is preferable as my times are limited in play and I just want to be able to pop in, grind some dungeons/quests, and log. Being useful in a group situation is good for me, but secondary to soloing.
I think self-healing would be a big benefit, but I'm new so not really sure. This also means only 28 stats, and no tomes (whatever those are).
Weapon choice doesn't matter to me. Race doesn't matter. Etc. You chose! You know best!
Suggestions please!
many thanks!!!
wow that's a lot of pages and a lot of builds so sorry if this is covered. I really like the stealth play style featured by Ghoste in the vids. I'm not really liking the WF however. could you come up with some sort of Stealth Cleric, built for soloing, offensive casting focused, maybe 2 or more levels of monk, no traps needed, human preferred or halfling/dwarf and only 28 pts to work with; is this undoable or an already been done?
I have a full time tank a full time healer and a mix mut made of family members.
I am looking for a top dps build. Class/race unimportaint 28 point build plz and no drow yet.
Somethign with endgame raiding in mind.
I'm a level 14 Chaotic Neutral Elf Rogue.
Pure Rogue. As in 14 levels of Rogue. I made choices mostly around being able to handle traps and locks that seem to be handled perfectly fine by people with a single splash level or rogue, if they are not just walked through. I also intended to backstab the **** out of things with two weapons and weapon finesse, although half the things I fight laugh at sneak attack damage.
I have two free respecs now that I'm playing again. It's a 28pt build, but I should be getting a +2 tome in a day or so.
Priorities:
1 - Actually being a useful character.
Here are my current base stats, with levelup stats included.
STR: 10 (includes +1 tome)
DEX: 21
CON: 12
INT: 14 (includes +1 tome.. no idea when/why I got these two..)
WIS: 10
CHA: 10
So.. since apparently Mod10 or Mod11 will allow me to do a full feat respec, I'm keen to know if this character is salvageable. Otherwise, if a feat or two could fix things up with the current respecs, that'd be great.
Feats:
Defensive Roll
Dodge
Improved Evasion
Improved Two-Weapon Fighting
Skill Focus: UMD
Weapon Finesse
Thanks folks. <3
Hey I'm not sure if you are still open to requests, if so I have one for you. I'm hoping to create a Paladin, namely a tanking paladin. I want it to be able to tank very well (probably with intimidate), but also to be able to backup as a damage or support character if there is another tank in the party. I was thinking a good way would be to cross class with either ranger (dual weapon for dps) or if it was plausible, to cross class several levels of sorcerer for some crowd control (for the sake of supporting the group... HOLD PERSON FTW). Note these are only a few options. I am open to any ideas that would make for a good tank/support character.
I do not have 32pt build nor do I have access to tomes. When I do however I may come back and ask for a revamp.
I would like to request a build that is easy to solo but can also help out if i can get in a group. I play weird hours so sometimes i have to solo. I was thinking along the lines of cleric/rogue. Rogue to diasable/find traps and cleric to heal but hear they are harder to play. What would you recommend? Thanks.
Hey Sigtrent ,
thanks for taking the time to do builds for all of us plebs. Was wondering if you could come up with a build which rotates around a bard/fighter build , somewhere along the lines of 15/1 , seeing new mod isn't out.
I have no tomes and it'll have to be a 28 pt build , still new to the game. Would love DPS , and being able to do self buffs and group if possible.
My mate is playing a cleric/rogue build atmo , and i thought that with this i might be able to buff both of us and fight with him
many thanks again and hope to see you in game!!
sry guys been really busy working to get ahead as i have gallbladder surgery comming up and the char planner that was updated has a really off hangtime that makes each build take forever i'll see if i can get some time to throw a few together roughly for you guys to have a base on.
I won't be on for about a week starting aug 28th tho see you all after that.
Sorry about the surgery, but I and probably others hope you have a good and speedy recovery.
Anyway - I've been playing the game for sometime and have mostly pure classes, but now I'd like to request a multi-class build. First I've been exploring different builds but I do love the Ranger class. Mostly because of the favored enemy, two weapon fighting and a few other 'bonuses.' I've been looking at a 15 (Favored enemy 4) or so and X levels of fighter. I would definitely need Bast-Swords because I have a stockpile of them! But don't really need that till like level 8. Tomes? Only +1's. Another thing is that he needs to be an elf because again - I have a ton of RR: Elf/Drow equipment. I do have the 32 point build option. I'd like to go with fighter because of alignment restrictions (Lawful Good for use of Pure Good weapons), and because of all the feats; although Barb rage would go a long way. The big problem with me in making this type of build is that I do not know all the nuances of when to take a level of this or that or the trade offs on how many levels to take of this, and other such important stuff. Another thing is because since I need the Bast-swords I think that taking 4 or so levels of Fighter would give me enough feats and other 'bonuses' for all that... Although I'm not sure... Then again would Tempest III outweigh the 'bonuses' I'd be getting for taking more than 2 levels of Fighter? I saw a 14(?)Barb/Ranger(6?) that looked cool but I'd rather not loose all my 'Pure Good' weapons.
