So, will MyDDO be updated to show the current destiny progression of a character? If not MyDDO as a screening tool will probably become even less useful. (not that that is a bad thing)

Any chance of getting the names of the 10 epic destinies now, just so we can speculate and wonder more :-)

Automatically granted abilities cannot be placed into a Twist of Fate slot, and you gain no additional benefit if a Twist of Fate is populated with an enhancement from your currently active Destiny.

    Sample Twist of Fate costs:

Unlock First Twist of Fate: 1 Fate Point
Upgrade First Twist to Max Tier 2: 2 Fate Points
Upgrade First Twist to Max Tier 3: 3 Fate Points

Unlock Second Twist of Fate: 2 Fate Points
Upgrade Second Twist to Max Tier 2: 3 Fate Points
Upgrade Second Twist to Max Tier 3: 4 Fate Points

Unlock Third Twist of Fate: 3 Fate Points
Upgrade Third Twist to Max Tier 2: 4 Fate Points
Upgrade Third Twist to Max Tier 3: 5 Fate Points
Are Fate Points resettable like the current enhancements. If I decide I didn't want to upgrade that Twist of Fate can I reset my points and reselect?

Similarly, can you reset Epic Enhancement points spent?

    Thanks.

    ... where's Star?
Do you think this will be a "going forward thing", or will we be able to use Epic Destinies for past lives we currently hold?

A more reasonable and believable idea would simply be that all the melee turn it on and whoever gets the kill, good for them. Of course, with that you'll create an even larger rift between melee and arcanes. You thought the haste boost was an annoying debate, wait till you see the insta-killing vs. boost killing debate.
In something like an epic lob yes I would expect that. High end raiding requires high levels of coordination and anyone who cant follow something as simple as let x get the kill will not raid with me anymore.

Your competing theory is only relevant if everyone is a dreadnaught I dont think that will be the case.

Except for arties, those are worthless since they no longer double the damage die of his greataxe and wouldn't even make it into his raid

It was the title for a level 17 Monk in AD&D, if my memory serves.

Sounds cool. But what about all the XP my capped Sorc has? She's gotta be at least 23rd lvl from the XP she's gotten. I should be able to count that.

Llolth appreciates the sacrifice of xp that has fueled her return to the multiverse.

So, yeah ... ultimate evil descending upon all the innocent people (and things that are also people) of the multiverse? Your fault.

No, no, no, your sorcerer quite modestly refused all XP once she got to 20.

AHA! I knew those capped characters were piking...

Sounds like I need to rush some more guys to 20 and park them. Wouldn't want to squander any epic xp. That would be almost criminal!

Ugh, I think my memory might be shot.

In any case I wasn't serious about monks being shafted, my monk wants to be able to punch people into next week also.

Is there anyway you can give us an idea of how epic leveling is in practice. Like, amount of xp needed, or whether or not xp will qualify from non-epic quests (I beleive I recall the anwer was yes to that).

But THAT coordination comes from the motivation that if you don't do what you are supposed to do when you are supposed to do it, the raid will fail.

What sort of motivation will you provide to a team so they coordinate so that only ONE melee gets the kill? My DPS is better than your DPS? In full guild raids I could see that sort of coordination, but in PUGs or even semi-PUGs, you're going to have a much harder time proving that if "X" melee doesn't get the buff and not "Y" melee, then the raid will fail. Furthermore, only the leader would be able to make that command and if the leader has no know-how as to who would be best or just doesn't care, then I just can't see it happening.

And as far as my competing theory, it can be relevant with at least 2 Dreadnaughts, though more reasonably with at least 3.

And again its necessary to mention the issue you'll have between arcanes vs. melee with high DPS and instakilling spells. What are you going to tell them to do, "Sit around and twiddle your thumbs?" or better yet "CC, do nothing, but CC." Oh joy, we're back to the no more than 2 arcanes in a group mentality.

Sorry, not trying to be a negative nancy here, I'm just concerned is all and better to be concerned with things still in development.
