The anniversary gift is pretty underwhelming, especially since there's no light armour cosmetic.

But some of the game changes are really good, including the removal of the pause with action boosts, addition of an ICD for DOT champs and moving the transport NPCs into the Ravenloft inns. So well done on those.

    Thanks.

Most of my characters wear light armor, so I guess it just sucks for me.

Woot - a special gift. After 12 years, I bet they learned to base it on what the players like the most!

Players like a choice of stuff that can be useful.
Players like BTA over BTC so they can use on a character they are currently running past lives for.
    Players like all armor choices!
Perhaps something that a druid can wear in animal form?

Congrats a cosmetic that will make everyone look virtually the same (Not a useful item to use, BTC so take up that slot on all characters!, void if wearing light armor or in an animal form).

Oh, that's easy. I didn't farm them. I just cheated. -Meghan

I literally came back after 4 years around this time because I was excited to see the anniversary gifts... I feel so disappointed, especially after buying new packs and what not. What a slap in the face.

    Default Underwhelmed by anniversary gift

Over the last few weeks I have a gentle feeling of mounting excitement:
    'Nearly anniversary time.'
'Wonder what we're going to get.'
'2016 was utterly awesome. 2017 less so, but still a few gems.'
'Excited to see what they have for us this year.'

    Annnnnnd it's gone.

    Cosmetics??!!

    Gah.

They say anticipation is half the enjoyment. This year, the anticipation is all the enjoyment I will get from the anniversary.

I take this to (possibly) mean that I can wear a cosmetic Docent on a human character?
"Race absolutely required: warforged!" has always led me to believe I could not.

    Anyone know?

No, the docent remains warforged restricted, and the non-docent remains non-warforged restricted.

Which is kind of silly because there are some non-docent cosmetics that can be worn on WF (See: The new RL outfits, and a few others.)
