Slard reaper xp is so horrible at 30 cap that yes i would run reaper epic dailies

I'm seriously hoping the devs designed rxp with the intent we be rewarded for playing a lot of content rather than the most rewarding method of xping being running the same efficient dailies over and over. It was bad enough that is how epic xp ended up working...I'm hoping they don't repeat the mistake.

Nope, they designed it for players to choose RXP/time over challenge. Their system vastly rewards R1's over R10's.

Devs don't understand their players if they think they can put in a multi-year grind without players minimizing it.

Remove the RXP and reaper would be for players to play content of difficulty they enjoy.

I absolutely LOVE the reaper update! Is has brought challenges back into the game! I was on the fence about quitting the game but decided to wait to see how this update would pan out. I am excited to log onto the game now. Every room I come up to makes me look and see what is in there and makes people play as a team! I start an LFM for Reaper 3-5 skulls and I put it out. I explain to people about how hard and fun it is and that it will NOT be a Zerg. I am only running my main toon through reaper (Firegoddess on Sarlona) and she now has 208 past lives, so reaper has given me the challenge I have asked for. If anyone on Sarlona wish to run reaper with me, just look me up, I have done 3 lives since Reaper came out and will be TR'ing again next Saturday back to level 15. Plan on going from 15-30 before Monday and then back to level 1 to play low level content. Come join in the fun!

Adding reaper without RXP would have increased heroic grouping in a similar manner.

It was the ease of soloing elites and the importance of your own first-time-bonus path through the quests that kept these players out of groups.

There are two separate effects
1) reaper
2) RXP

Pretending we had to have both of them or nothing is just plain flawed.

Those complaining asked for 1) but not 2), or in many cases a different implementation of 2.

How long does it take you to do a life in terms of hours played? I assume you use 50% XP pots the whole way? Because that is about 1 life every fortnight, every fortnight, since TRing came in?

When I was in the TR grind I could do 1-20 in 2 days. But please be aware that my 208 past lives is a mixture of heroic, iconic and epic. My heroic past lives is only 117.
As a sub note, with reaper out, I can do 15-30 in under 2 days ( a full weekend grind with 30%pot running). If you run like that, you will have to skip a lot of content. I did not touch GH until epic levels and when I did, I ran 5-7 skulls through all of GH and I max out my xp before I completed ToR. Great reaper do in GH 1.5k per quest. When I left for vacation on Feb 13th, I had 177k. I will be back to the grind when I get home on the 24th.
Also, I do agree with people when they said reaper XP did not have to be apart of this update, but I do enjoy the little power that is adds and hoping to be upping my game to reaper 6-8 in the next month or so.

I would love for them to fix assassins and the aggro change they did. If you have your assassin around when I am on, look me up. I like using holds and webs, so you would be able to do your thing and get a bunch of kills in my groups!????

So you have 208 past lives and since the update you TRed 3 times already, and going to do some more? Funny how despite getting nothing from TRing you are doing it more frequently since the update and don't want to stay at cap. It's pretty simple to understand: It's not a problem because they are doing what's meant to be done in a game: Having fun. If implementation was as the snowflakes at cap wanted it, and only lvl 30s could play it, I'd bet you'd be here singing the praises of that implementation, and deriding anyone that claimed it should have been any other way, right?
