Default CC no auto boot out at end.. and no shards given.. sucks

Got to the end. We collected 254. Quest window said completed. Waited.. waited.. waited...

No shards given. Not auto-booted out of quest.

Eventually recalled.. no warning about not complete.

    Didn't get any shards.

    Nice bug.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

Are there any other circumstances to this particular happenstance?

not that it would mattered much, but you should have stayed inside and /reported to a GM trying to save your shard loot granted if 1st of 2 not best move, but a good option.

It was 2nd run. 1st went fine

Group leader disconnected just before the timer ran out. He did not reconnect at any time.

I did not notice anything else unusual.

And next instance kobolds are on strike.

No amount of picking up and moving torches or anything will get the kobolds to move.

10 minutes of nothing from them.. even removing all torches in the area did not get them to move. Time ran out with 94 crystals collected.. nice.

Both sound like the same error: scripting might stop running if someone disconnects.

I know I saw that in past runs of the Crystal Cove: if someone is frozen and in the process of disconnecting, the kobolds all freezed in place until that player caught-up and un-froze or finished disconnecting fully. Don't think the error happened for me if someone was completely disconnected.

Ya, last time around we saw this a fair amount of the time if someone was having connection issues.

I just finished a level 25 Cove run with 112 shards beyond the required 100 and did not get auto-booted when the quest finished. Instead, it just kind of sat there and the kobolds kept gathering crystals.

Eventually, I finished out (note: finished, not recalled and the confirmation button did say that the quest was complete when I clicked it) and I still had 118 Green Dragonshards - just like I had before I stepped into the Cove quest.

Turbine, the next time you fix the Cove quest, could you please ACTUALLY FIX IT instead of just breaking it in a slightly different way?

My next 2 runs went without any buggy behavior.

Both of your issues are being investigated. Thanks for your help!

Was there anything specific that was different about that run? Any disconnections, hireling, ect?

Um... maybe I'm reading this wrong, but if you do a run without any bugs/e.g. everything went as normal how it should be, that's an issue?

I had an issue where I d/c near the end. I logged back in just after the quest completed. I was still in the instance, got credit for the completion, but didn't get any shards. I think that's kind of dumb but whatever. That should be changed.

Two issues were previously mentioned above. I just chose the closest post to respond to.

Had similar issues in several runs, although not seen the completion issue the OP is posting about... Kobolds just go up and down the torch line, almost as if they cant see the next torch in the line... I thought it was just poor torch running but as I was the one laying them it cudn't possibly of been the reason

Anyhow relaid the entire line twice and in some cases three times but to no avail, when only getting to 86 crystals on the second run I decided not to run it a third time as it seemed to be a fruitless exercise.

I did run it solo a little later on CR16 just to see if it was just poor laying... got 151 crystals as reward but again, they hit a slow patch on the line so I picked up and went in opposite direction.. still not great though.

We just had an issue where having barrels on the line seemed to confuse the kobolds (or, they're just lazy). They all stopped and bunched up, and nothing we could do would get them moving until we picked up the barrels. Then they all started going again. This was about an hour ago tops, on Khyber.
