Gets all of the epic set bonuses for the Red Fens stuff and a yellow socket. Might actually be useful...
Personally I think the item is overpowered.

I find it interesting however that to get the Epic Gem and take advantage of it you have to own the Devil Assault and Red Fens Adventure Packs.

It also explains why most Red Fens epic items have no Augment slots.

Considering that to get it, you have to A: have at least 1 red fens epic, probably 2 and B: are ok with losing bloodstone/litany/epic bloodstone, I'd say it's not overpowered.

It does absolutely nothing to explain why most red fens epics have no augment slots, and I don't find it overpowered at all since most of the red fens sets short of the claw set aren't worth very much, and the cost of giving up either a litany or a bloodstone is pretty high for most builds.

The Bloodstone ain't great, none of my toons use it. I very much prefer to use a Dusk Heart.

As for Litany, I find it semi useful on my cleric. Not that great and I can certainly survive without it.

Tell ya what, come to Thelanis and we'll run desert together. I will give you all my dusk hearts if you give me all your bloodstones.

    Epic Bloodstone:

    Seeker +8

    Epic Dusk Heart

    Superior False Life (40 HP's)
    Dusk (10% Blurry)
    Spell: Mass Death Ward [1/Rest]
Colorless Augment Slot (Stat +6 or Exceptional Stat +1)
Yellow Augment Slot (Poison, Blindness, Disease, Fear, Underwater, Feather, Res +4, Pro +4, Wizardy VI, Spell Focus: School)

And you think the Bloodstone is the better choice?

For DPS yes. For utility, no.

So, I have the choice of 16-24-32 extra damage on crits, or a +6 stat(probably don't need), SFL(Already have GFL in every gearset, so 10 hp), a clickie that's nice, and a yellow slot(don't need too many of these)

    I'll take the damage, thanks.

    You are right.

I would much rather have an Epic marlith chain and a Epic Dusk heart over a Bloodstone.

    I didn't say it was.

I said that I would rather have a Epic marlith chain.

Bloodstone is not as good as some make it out to be.
Litany or Dusk heart are better choices.
    Hands down.

Maybe that wasn't his question, but the point I am making now is my own, and is not necessarily a response to his question.

I used to have those trains and the track set!!!

Now as for the trinket thing...

Litany + mentau's is usually ideal but eh..

The gem of Many facets is quite good, and that cloak is awesome!
