The new wraps are a combination of effects that do not go together well. Also, the effects are weak even when looked at individually. If it was a recipe, would you put Path of Guarding Stone, stun +6, or Stone Prison on your wraps over an icy burst recipe? I would not.
-If it lives long enough to make stunning worth the trouble, you are going to run +10 stunners, and the +4 enhancement bonus won't matter much because stunned mobs melt shortly after being stunned. You should not be having to-hit difficulties on a monk at level 10.
-Stone Prison is fail because 5% chance of DC 17 is fail on anything past harbor. Sadly, in harbor everything dies in a few hits anyway, which further reduces the usefulness of Stone Prison.
-Path of the Guarding Stone is... interesting, but not useful. Switching to a vastly inferior stance for a low chance of a Stoneskin proc does not seem useful for anything but turtle blocking, which does not work that well without a shield to block with. Also, Stoneskin does not stack with the DR granted by earth stance, so reduce the usefulness of it even more when factoring in that 2/4/6/8 (earth 1/2/3/4) of that temporary DR would already be on the monk anyway 100% of the time when in stance.
At level (10 for these wraps), I would rather use a +3 elemental/puregood wrap on a monk and be +7 damage. I never bother to stun mobs on my monk until I hit Gianthold, and even then usually not until elites (at which point i would use nothing lower than +10 stunning, even if it was a plain +1).
