Hah, never noticed your sig before. I only vaguely remember posting that but I still haven't seen any evidence that you are more than just a Forum Personality.
When I search for posts by kinar that include the word QA, it returns nothing so I can't even go back and see what I was ranting about in that thread...probably Prey on the Hunter...You have to admit that quest was total **** when it was released due to bugs and simple unplayablility...there is no way that turbine QA'd that quest.

I don't know man Gygax sounds more like your local DM then these overly sophisticated types if you think about it![]()
I turned mine off as soon as i did delera's i know hes the creator of DnD but his voice isnt pleasant to hear.

Look, when Gygax says 'Delera,,,, has been released!', you can hear the love for the game in his voice, i swear, and what's more, it brings a smile to my face everytime he says it. (And you better beleive, i've done a LOT of Delera's runs :P).
This game was designed by grown men, with complicated rules, for a game of 'pretend'.
Please don't give me a cinematic immersive dolby experience that completely takes away the need to exercise any imagination whatsoever, that's not how it started, and it shouldn't be how it ends.
More cheese please!

My thoughts...
Same DM for entire quest is important. I don't care if they do a good job or not when it comes to 'voice acting'. Heck, I'd love to see a competition of some kind where players can win the chance to narrate a quest.
Of course the 'masters' must stay.
Of all celebrity voice actors... Mike Myers actually plays (or at least played) D&D so I think it'd be awesome if he'd do a voice over. He could use his Shrek voice for all the ogres!
While reading this thread I couldn't help thinking we need to get Gilbert Gottfried in here to do some DM voicing...

Wait a minute...hasn't anyone explained this to you before?
I lurk, I read, and I generally don't post because most folks don't give a pair of dingo's kidneys about the things I work on. This time though, the image of Gilbert as a DM was stuck in my head and I had to share.
Okay... had I a pair of dingo's kidneys, they'd be yours.
Now, welcome to the forums and tell us all about yourself and what you work on!
IDK. I like hearing the DM voices. Adds atmosphere to content. I also kind of like how the narrating is not highly polished, it makes it more enjoyable to me--makes me feel more emerged.
I would like more DM voices though, just to mix things up.
