    Default Teleport to Upper Sorrowdusk

It would be very nice if, after you've finished the Cult of the Six arc in Sorrowdusk, you could talk to the first ogre to teleport to the 2nd ogre, kind of like how Eremic Quell can teleport you to the hobgoblin chief in Tangleroot.

That is indeed a long, un-challenging, pointless, and (after the first quest arc) more than a little repetitive hike.

After running it the first time? Yes, absolutely.

Related question: Who in the world runs Sorrowdusk a second time in any given life?! hehheh.

Would it not be great to skip the whole ship thing also?

I often run the chain usually solo, I kinda like the quests anyway. But yeah I am all for speeding up to way to quest areas.

But some quests I almost never run are the restless isles, Think i have only run them once or twice and I have never done the raid. Part of the reason it the convoluted way to get there.

Still maybe if looked again it might not be as bad as I remember?

Yeah, it's sad. Like Ataraxia's Haven, Searing Heights, Cerulean Hills etc. All Wilderness areas could do
with a 3BC style revamp where there is interesting loot in the explorer areas. This game is huge but
only 80% of it is ever seen.

Unless/until they update it to a 3BC type intro area, I'd prefer to keep the ship since it functions as a Tavern.

It gets better with time, and this map makes the island hopping simple.

Meh, they aren't that bad to physically run to. On par with ADQ1, I'd say.

However, you can use the teleporter dudes if someone shares the quest with you, which is a nice perk if you have a dualbox account.

It doesn't help that the quests are spread across 5 levels (6-11).

It gets even simpler when you realize that there are basically 2 places where the path "splits", one leads to the wildmen, the other to the ogres. I can run through it easily with no map even though I freely admit that all of the corridors look the same in there.

did you mean [insert name of the first chain/first half of the co6 chain] or did you really mean the co6 chain? if [insert name of the first chain/first half of the co6 chain] i can at least understand the logic behind the request and consider it somewhat reasonable. if you really mean the whole co6, why would they waste dev time on something nobody would ever use?

on a related note: im just waiting for ddo to become a game where you spend hours and hours and hours building your character through 100 character levels with epic, legendary, and mythic destinies, all gear is store bought, and once you are finished optimizing your character you are teleported to the one and only quest in the game (to reduce travel time obviously), a room with a kobold or a box or a button (you pick!). when you interact with said object it dies and a message pops up telling you that you win.

i might actually play this game once all the unnecessary bull **** is removed.
You are but a lamb, ignorant of your own ignorance. You no longer interest me.

I don't know about the teleport because usually I just do all quests there in one go. Even the high level ones are not that hard. But the loot definatelly could use a second look, like sharn and 3bc got.
Bought my first dungeon master's guide in 1992. My favourite part of ddo is coffee and slayers

with Reaper setting it is even more essential since the quests have different level ranges
