Save Tomes

We have stat and skill tomes, how about Save tomes?

To avoid the confusion about different channels stacking, just three types would do: Fortitude, Reflex and Will.

Scaling values are left as an exercise for the reader.

The addition of more and more tomes has already watered down in-game drop rates so much that it's literally impossible to gear up with tomes now without buying from the store!

I've actually had a number of tomes drop for me over the last few months...

But anyway, I'm not adverse to the idea per se but most of the effects that require a save can be buffed against as far as I know. They could be added to either the store or the rem vendor.

That would be a good idea for the remnant vendor. I have about 60k of remnants in storage and need to spend them on something..

Good idea, and I also think that remnant vendor is a good choice.

But this should be +3 bonus max (in steps of +1) to avoid too much power creep.

As a store-bought thing I'd say NO. As a remnant vendor only thing I guess it would be okay. But in general I'm not in favor of further stacking boosts/bonuses that the devs decide to balance for/against. Its already ludicrous the numbers we have to reach to be competitive in high end content. I'm not saying its impossible I'm saying its Plaid on the Spaceballs scale.

Here is the reason why I think this is not a good idea.

Technically we already have "Save Tomes" in game.

Dexterity Tomes - Reflex Save
Constitution Tomes - Fortitude Save
Wisdom Tomes - Will Save

For Those that use Insightful Reflex
Intelligence Tomes - Reflex Save

For those that use Force of Personality
Charisma Tomes - Will Save

Nah, I mean just the real feat not just hardly enough xp to get to a certain lvl.

Since remnants stack to 10k, nothing in the remnants store can cost more than 10k.

Eh, they could do a work-around, a "mega-remnant" via turn-in to consolidate standard remnants, sim to various shards/etc. Wouldn't be a bad thing overall.

This is true, call it a Mysterious Crystal or something.

I'd be interested in getting bigger PRR/MRR/MP/SP tomes if they did this.
