Build points when combining racial and class heroic TRs

Got a question about how the new racial reincarnation system interacts with the old "class" heroic reincarnation system, when it comes to build points. I have an old toon who's only a 34 point build, thanks to one old heroic ("class") TR. If I do a racial TR, will I go up to a 36 point build? I know that racial TRs will advance you to 34 then 36, but is that ONLY if you do them *both* as racial TRs? Can't find the answer in-game, in the release notes, or on wiki. Thanks in advance!

The design intent is that you can mix and match as you please, so you should go to 36pt build if you do a racial reincarnation.

I make no promises that it isn't bugged in some way, but it's supposed to work.
