Gearing up to mess around in the Orchard...
What kind of suffixes and prefixes should I create on various items so to give myself a little edge?

Light effect (silver) of undead bane.
As EllisDee said, Light/Undead bane works wonders.
However, there are other options.
Prefix can either be good or light, as certain undead possess DR/Good. Light is great as well, but only sees purple numbers against shadows and vampires.
Suffix is best suited as undead bane.
Bonus effect, while there is potential for vampirism, the internal cooldown causes insightful damage to push forward by a significant margin.
Augment: For undead beaters, there's basically three options. 1: Vampire slayer (1d4 light, + silver DR bypass), 2: Ghostbane (1d6 bane + ghost touch), or 3: Straight damage (Potentially the highest damage, but I think I'd probably go Vamp slayer over it)
My ideal undead killer is actually a reasonably high level Light/Undead Bane/Insightful Damage Silver Maul with a Ghostbane aug slotted.
after being away for a few years, one thing ive found is that instakills (vorpal etc) seem to be less effective (due to the hp change) and less in demand. that said, what do you all think about disruption? specifically in regards to orchard heroic?
Don't forget you can substitute Unnatural Bane for Undead Bane if you don't have any soul gems. Unnatural Bane works against Aberrations, Monstrous Humanoids, AND Undead but doesn't cost a soul gem. It only costs 50 Essences, 15 Caravan Logbooks, and 5 Marks of the Keeper.
Dennis the Peasant: Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.
My challenge farmer is ranged spec and uses a GxBow, 13 rogue/2 arti/1 barb. I use a hand of the tombs for disruption on GxBow imbue and that procs on a 19-20. I also have her wearing Mournlode Chain for weaken undead and use Assassin's trick/precision/armor piercing to break fortification on them. . .they drop fast!
The Mournlode chain has other nice anti-undead features like undead guard & perma-protection from evil.

You also have a small choice of weapons that are Mournlode too--they were upgraded with the crafting boost but oddly are a little behind a crafted weapon.
Mournlode Shortsword, Mournlode Longsword, Mournlode Greataxe, Mournlode Light Mace, Mournlode Warhammer, Mournlode Maul

+1 to Buddha.
Why would I craft undead bane ever again really?
By the way we can put festive solar on CC weapons. I did not learn that till after the event.
