What 1st-lifer build is good for farming the shroud solo?

If it's viable at all, at least on HN. A monkcher? A pally KotC? (some ppl would make me believe all we need is a warlock :P )

I've dualboxed it on two Shiradi Wizards on heroic normal. I don't know if I could do it without pots strictly on a single character (the part 2 crystal would be annoying...). Some way to unlock might speed things up in the puzzle phase.

I can't imagine Warlock would be harder, though.

Well, let's see:

In part 1 you want lots of non-element dps because portals are immune to acid/cold/electric/fire/sonic. Light, negative, and force do full damage, and weapons work well enough but be aware that portals have 100% fortification and DR 10/-.

In part 2 you'll want range dps to break the crystal, and high run speed to separate the 4 bosses.

In part 3 you'll want high run speed and a way to open locks.

Parts 4 and 5 are essentially just dps checks. If using weapons, be able to bypass DR/Good AND Silver.

Have you considered farming Devil Assault EN? It drops all Shroud mats.

You can also just give up 2 out of the 4 chests and break the crystals floating up top to complete part 3 if lockpicking/knock is unavailable to you.
