Cannot choose normal feats instead of legendary feats

Makes sense. Considering how feats seem to be coded, if you could take a normal feat instead of a legendary feat, you would probably be able to take two legendary feats at 30.

At level 30 you get one standard Feat, and one Legendary Feat. You cannot take a normal feat in place of the Legendary Feat, and you cannot take a Legendary Feat in place of the standard feat.

And may I just say that when I updated my character planner for the new level increase, I was super psyched to see a whole new type of feat introduced. hehheh.
