Default Calling all Tempest Rangers - is yoru Dual Perfection working?

So the new enhancement - Dual Perfection - is supposed to make your offhand attack modifier use your full attribute bonus instead of half of its bonus to damage.

    My Dexterity is 46.

My Dexterity modifier to damage is +18.

When I open my inventory to view my bonus to hit and damage with my weapons, the bonus to hit appears to be calculating properly. However, the bonus to damage on my secondary weapon is always 9 fewer points than my primary. this would indicate that the 0.5 mod is still in effect regardless of the enhancement. I've tried swapping weapons/enhancements/destinies. The same thing always happens.

Is anyone else seeing the same?

now - is it possible that the in-game effect is working despite what is shown in inventory? If so, how would I even try to verify this?

I'm a bit bummed since I completely respecced my character into pure Ranger because i was excited about the changes to Tempest.

Grab a couple masterwork scimitars from the Hammer & Chain in the Harbor and smack the dummy for a bit.

The inventory panel is kinda buggy, it has all sorts of issues with showing crit range/multiplier stuff as well. So I wouldn't count on that.

The only way to be sure is to strip yourself of as much random-damage stuff as you can (the masterwork scimis are a good idea), and go hit the dummy or something. With a 9-point potential difference (and a high offhand proc chance), you should quickly see if some hits are out of whack.
DDO: If a problem cannot be solved by the application of DPS, you're not applying enough.

Tested with a 24 Strength Modifier and a pair of +1 daggers, all hits on the dummy were within 4 points of each other. The inventory display is wrong, it is working perfectly.

Was your inventory display showing the same problem, however?

Yep, the inventory panel showed only half the strength modifier on the offhand. Just a visual bug.
