    Default Concentration

Why are there so few viable Concentration items?

Augments are so far behind the grade and difficult to find {like many skill augments actually!}.

The only Concentration item I can think of that is in any way viable is the Belt of Thoughtful Remembrance!

Is it because of Quicken being a known must have Feat?

I'm still a sucker for my greensteel +45hp at end game, just can't seem to let it go no matter how many HP I have. I have Conc Opp on it at the moment, but I've been thinking of making a new one with +45HP, +10 concentration and +6 exceptional to constitution skills, giving me + 16 to concentration...

    +10 Concentration and that's End-Game level?

    NO!

Greensteel is very nice because of it's low level to use - Let's face it it really should be Min Lvl 16! And has been brokenly OP for many years!

But anyone who actually wants Concentration on their character would surely want +20 at End-Game?

Now yes Concentration {thanks to Quicken being a must take Feat} isn't a must have but there are places where we have Concentration skill checks that are ludicrously high when there are so few viable Concentration items out there.
Carrying a +15 random loot gen swap in may be a viable work around but wouldn't it be nice if the Devs stopped with the +Heal on absolutely every Divine item and made some nice items with +Conc instead?

Different world for monks, but as a caster, I've never needed to worry too much about maxxing out concentration gear, I grab the skill at every level get some sort gear to help and it doesn't seem to matter after that. I generally don't quicken every spell.

I wonder what mileage others get from not worrying too much about maxxing out Concentration gear? I suspect we're all doing fine, for as you've pointed out there is a dearth of +20 gear and augments.

There's a dearth of Viable concentration gear while levelling too! {Let's face it nobody's first Greensteel item is going to be Concentration unless that comes as part of the package.}.

Yes - Many of us have got used to not having it but wouldn't it be nice to be able to fit it in?

What brought this on for me is that I picked up a Halcyonia {Heroic} the other day and got around to checking my Clerics to see which one wanted it:

One {Lvl 14} was wearing the Lordsmarch Set {Katra's, Teraza's Meanya's} so didn't really need it.
One {Lvl 16} was wearing the Totemic Lavalier with Wisdom slotted elsewhere so again that's a no.
One {Lvl 15} was wearing a lovely Robin Hood hat with Wizardry V and Concentration 13 with Wis 5 on Necklace and a Wizardry VI Necklace in inventory so I swapped in the Wizardry VI Neck for the Wis 5 Neck and stuck the Halcyonia on her.
Now She's down 13 concentration! {And wearing a terrible looking helm instead of a really nice hat!}.

Not that I need that concentration either BUT wouldn't it be nice to be able to fit it in?

It would be nice to fit in many many things. But there isn't enough room, and that is not limited to concentration or casters.

Like right now I'm trying to find a way to fit in exceptional seeker without giving up insightful combat mastery or lowering my charisma...

Yep - There's plenty of choices the Devs have given us since they added in Deadly etc.

But Concentration has always been a Dump slot.
And having more named gear with extra Concentration rather than Heal on absolutely every Divine based item would make for MORE Choice rather than less!

I think that once the level cap goes up to 30 then the Devs should spend an entire update for augments (along with bug fixes naturally), that way they could include all the augments which are either missing or long over due like skill augments and make +20 ones as ML28 or even ML30. Anyway back on topic, have you had a look at the Crystal Cove hats you can get +15 Concentration on those.

Cove hats are nice but they're limited to only one prefix and one suffix while named helms typically have multiple abilities - Also Wizardry is very commonly available on a whole number of slots as are stats so really the Cove hat lives and dies on it's suffix alone!

Wiki only lists two items with Concentration +20: Prismatic Cloak and Epic Belt of Thoughtful Rememberance.

The belt looks like a viable endgame belt for many builds. (Constitution +11, Resistance +11, Dodge +11%, Deathblock, plus green and yellow slots.)

It's the lack of Concentration on named items at ALL levels that worries me.

And why is there no Viable Helm/Hat/Tiara/etc. post Korthos with Concentration other than Crafting/Cove?

Wow - I've just looked at the Wiki and:

+13 Conc is only available on TWO viable non-iconic starter gear items:
    Belt of Thoughtful Rememberance
    Garments of Equilibrium

And You need to be Epic Level to get a named item with +15! {Or Lvl 18+ for Shintao Cord from Amrath!}.

I was responding to your point about endgame concentration items.

For leveling I mainly focus on cove hats and cannith crafting if I want concentration.
