It shows accurately for me, at least with changing a current build (haven't tried a new build).

Sounds like your Races.txt data file is still the old version, which probably means that all your data files are the old version. Check to be sure that the txt files in the Data folder are dated March 17-19th. (Except Classes.txt, ReadMe.txt and Exceptions.txt, which didn't change.)

New version is up. Release notes in the previous post.

The character builder didn't change; it's still v2.2. There were a couple minor data changes, including a fresh crawl, but otherwise not much of note.

The crafting builder got a major overhaul. I tossed out all previous farming data for collectables and created my own farming data from scratch. This includes node counts, completion times and youtube video links. This also allows calculating collectable values, using essences as a currency. These values are now included in the detail for collectables, with links so you can see exactly how the values are calculated and also see a chart of all values for comparison. Most of the legwork of this project can be found in this forum thread.

Your work on both the character builder lite and this new crafting builder is amazing! I have been using the character builder since you released it and just tested the crafting builder. The crafting builder is the best I have used so far. Simple and effective way to map out gear. Your commitment to these programs and collecting the data necessary to make them accurate absent an API is impressive.

Do you have any plans on integrating the gear sets with the character builder to enable a "final build" screen of some sort with complete stats, etc.? I remember Ron's planner had this a long time ago, but it was removed as I imagine it was too time consuming to keep up with all the evolving gear and crafting systems. I have been using various of my own mashed up excel sheets since, but it would be amazing to see it integrated.

Thanks again for an amazing set of programs!

Only partially, and not anytime soon. Before that I want to get augments added to the crafting planner, but every time I sit down to mess with that it gets way more complicated than I'd like. Still, I expect to have augments implemented at some point, if only so I can stop using excel spreadsheets.

Default Tier 5 Henshin Staff Training

    Hello,

I found I was unable to add Monk Henshin Mystic Tier 5 Henshin Staff Training. I also checked Enhancements.txt, but it does not seem to be there.

    Thanks,

Sorry! I don't want any adventures, thank you. Not Today. Good morning! But please come to tea -any time you like! Why not tomorrow? Good bye!

    Thanks,
Not sure how that one got by me. Thanks much for the heads up; I'll add it in next time I update the builder.

Default Monk - Martial Arts Feat Spring

Thanks again for keeping this going. I have one here that is rather tricky...

When taking Monk martial arts feats, the feat Spring Attack can only be taken at Monk level 6, not at Monk level 1 or 2. With pure monk, this occurs naturally as prerequisite of BAB 4 is not met until level 5. With a multi-class (which I happened to be building), the character met the prerequisites with fighter levels. At that point it can be taken as a normal feat, but Monk levels taken later still will not allow it as a martial arts feat until monk level 6. Character Builder Lite will allow "Spring Attack" to go in Monk 1 & 2 martial arts feat slots if prerequisites met, and (if possible) it needs to block that.

While trying to figure why it wasn't working in game I found this note a little late in the wiki here: http://ddowiki.com/page/Martial_arts_feats below the table I normally just click through.
"Spring Attack can only be taken as the third martial arts feat at Monk level 6. Multiclass characters taking the first or second level of Monk cannot take Spring Attack as their martial arts feat, even if they meet the prerequisites."

Sorry! I don't want any adventures, thank you. Not Today. Good morning! But please come to tea -any time you like! Why not tomorrow? Good bye!

idk if this is known or not, but horc pa is only granting 2 ranks in builder but should be 3
You are but a lamb, ignorant of your own ignorance. You no longer interest me.

    I wasn't aware, thanks much.

There have been several data issues posted since the last version. I prefer releasing updates when the game gets updated, but geez, we still don't even have a first lammania preview of U36. Should I post an update sometime next week, or hold off until U36?

Just a data release might be good. Pretty sure we're a fair bit off from even a Lama release.

That is indeed tricky, in that there is not currently any logic in the builder to support that rule. It'd be fine if it were a monk-only feat like Deflect Arrows, but I have no way to limit it to Monk 6 while also allowing it for everyone else without restriction. At least I don't think I do. So for right now I'm going to have to leave this one unfixed.

I have all the other reported problems corrected and will be crawling wiki soon. Expect an update either later this morning (optimistic) or by tomorrow morning at the latest. I'll get the Spring Attack issue for monks corrected when U36 goes live. Somehow. I hope.

Th error message is a following:

    Runtime error '5':
    Invalid procedure call or argument

I am running it on Windows 10 (fully updated). I will try to run it under wine and let you know if it is the issue there as well.

One thing that I noticed comparing files that loads fine (Kensei Warpriest.gearset) vs one that I just created and could not load is in the Effects:

    File that triggers an error:

    Section: Effects

    Effect: Charisma
    Effect: Constitution
    Effect: Dexterity
    ...

File that is loaded just fine:

    Section: Effects

    Effect: Charisma
ValidSpots: Necklace Suffix, Cloak Prefix, Ring Prefix

    Effect: Constitution
    ValidSpots: Necklace Prefix

    ...

I hope this will help to pinpoint the issue.
