Default Release Notes and Healing Amp question

    From the Release Notes:

"Healing Amplification has been changed to be additive rather than multiplicative, in a way that benefits many players while minimizing the detrimental effects to players who have created characters with a very large amount of Healing Amplification. In addition to making Healing Amplifications additive, many sources of Healing Amplification have had their benefit doubled. Healing Amplification is now a rating, similar to Melee Power, Ranged Power, and Spell Power, in that it increases all healing by (100 + Rating)/100. Repair Amplification works the same, as well as values that allow Pale Masters to heal with Negative Energy healing."

I am not getting what is meant here. What are the detrimental effects refered to in this quote that they feel they are minimizing?

Max healing amp builds will end up with less healing amp in U24 than they have now on live.

Good for Armored tanks .. bad for PJ evasion builds.

Armored Paladins and Barbarians get all the benefits of healing amp enhancements and PRR/MRR from armor
PJ Builds like Monks and monk/paladin multi-class builds get reduced healing in this change.
The loss of HAMP neuters heavily invested healing amp monk builds since Monks don't get the PRR/MRR benefit that the armored builds get by default.

So now the armored tank gets mitigated incoming damage from PRR, reduced incoming spell damage from associated MRR and no penalties or limits for healing amp while being heavily armored.
Monk/Monk Splashes... well at least they still have a TR option to re-roll into something else.

    It shakes out like this
If you had just a tiny amount of Amp you essentially get your amp doubled for free.

If you went heavy healing amp up to say 400% you stay about even to where you were.

When you start getting over 500% you start noticing a reduction

When you get out to the fringe 700% or so you lose a decent chunk.
