    Default Cleric 10th Life build

    Hi Community,
    Tappas past lives
    3 x wizard
    3 x FVS
    3 x cleric.
    3 x morninglord
    1 x Divine
    1 x Martial
Current (and hopefully final life) is cleric morninglord as I love the class. I focus on insta kills and "command", raid healing is a given but being cleric, I find when insta killing I run out of mana too fast.

what would a good build be with feats to ensure I can still heal effectively, and run around EH content (EE Gianthold) smiting and insta killing?

Id prefer to keep it a pure cleric build simply for preference but I have no desire to melee at all. (hirelings do more damage with their breath than I do )

I do like running through Von3 beating the wizards finger with my big skull animation

How do I get my DC's to 48 for destruction?

    thanks
    Tappas

The basic framework is outlined in the necro cleric link in my signature. Despite being a new player build, the basic premise (race, skills, feats) are largely the same as you would take on an endgame EE DC cleric.

The enhancements will be a little different, since my necro cleric build doesn't fully min/max dcs in order to take aura, but it's pretty trivial to make that change on the fly.

Gear is where you really have to work to get your DC up, but that's independent of build. (Litany of the Dead, thunderforge weapon and armor, +11 wisdom item, etc...)

As a morninglord you'll be -1 wisdom compared to a human, and you'll be short on skills, and missing a feat, but should still work.

Instakills are supposed to be expensive. Some suggestions:

    1) More SP. Mental Toughness line, sorcerer active past life etc.
    2) Conserve SP. Implode many instead of destruct one.
    3) Regain SP. Sun elf enhancement, conopp, torc, bauble etc.
    4) Use more cost effective offensive spells. You have blade barrier and light spells, both of which are powerful. BB is expensive but kills many. Divine Disciple gives you cheap light spells. At least some of those can hit multiple enemies when you line them up and target the furthest one.
    Don't feed the trolls.
Praise the Dark Six and pass the heals to pure melees.
Full feat tree; Cannith; change; merger; evil; win; minmaxing; FotM; deja vu; Kobolds.

To conserve mana you should stick to SLA's. Instakilling everything (while fun)
Is a drain on SP. SLA's on the otherhNd offer reliable and constant damage values and can be very effective when built up. I have a FVS based SunElf that is prety fun.

You will need to make a list of all the fears you want on the character and then choose from there. One possible build would be:

    Max
    empower
    Quicken
    Heighten
    PL Wiz
    spell focus necro
    mental toughness
    Imp mental
    ED1: light spell power
    Ruin
    ED2: mass frog

The metamagics are needed. The spell focus and mental toughness can be swapped based on your playstyle. ED feats too are personal preference but Mass Frog can be a lot of fun

Nothing wrong with a pure caster. Divine deciple is a good tree but you have to drop Aura to get the best parts of it.

    DC is easy to calculate:
    Base 10
    Spell lvl 9 (heightend destruction)
Stat Mod (WIS): 25 (60Wis as an example)
    PL Wiz feat: 1
ED Boosts: 3 (Exalted Angel Innate)
ED WIS: 0 to 3 depending on your AP choices
    Spell Focus feat: 1
Twists: (0 to 3 or is it 5max?)
    Item: up to +6
    Augment: +1
    shadow DC armor +1

Add up what you have and you will know your DC's. I also do not think I have listed all bonuses possible. Those are just what I can remember right now
Characters: Celemia / Tukson / Thau (Broken link) / Atremus
