As he wants a TWF build, he can slot each 1-handed weapon in the off-hand slot and still get the bonuses. Although this doesn't work with Insightful Damage scrolls, he can still use Elemental Weapon scrolls or even Deadly Scrolls if he was so inclined. It does take some time, but it's possible.

In terms of melee clickie attacks, the rogue ones are okay but not necessary. Your bread and butter melee attack will be the ML6 core in the deepwood stalker tree. (Called Shot: Exposing Strike.) It's crazy good. Then toss in Bleed Them Out from the tempest tree and you should be good to go. Any more than two and it can start to be too much, especially when you factor in cleave + great cleave.

Not really. It's just as effective as it was before, it just has lost potential with pets; as does druids and palemasters.
