Default Missing the social aspect of the game :(

A lot of the folks I befriended and played with when I first started DDO aren't on much anymore. Aside from the twice weekly guild dungeon runs I lead, I mostly end up soloing.

I think you've made the same discovery that many others have too, DDO is now a soloists game.

Sounds like what happened to me. My heyday was when raid nights on Argo were popular because I loved shooting the breeze with a group of 12 people (I learned about manicorns and the lemon party through that experience ). Now, with the loss of that social aspect of the game I moved pretty much into the forum lurker category, rarely playing and only posting out of nostalgia.

Pretty much seems like the stages of DDO grief go from regular playing with friends to solo playing to sporadic playing and forum posting, to only a few forum posts and then finally moving on fully to something else. Maybe with periodic returns to the game like it's a crazy ex-lover who you fondly remember all the good times so you spend the random night with them only to run away the next morning after you remember all that went wrong with the relationship.

Obviously, I am on Argonnessen. Keep an eye out for Bonulino, Misanigas, Friponino and Bestamanto when you are on. Sometimes I like to run solo, but not all the time, and I was starting to feel kind of lonesome.

    Cool

A large group of us started a Facebook Argonessen closed group, which then started a private channel. There are usually 10+ people on this channel at any given time. Over 130 on the Facebook group page. If you're on Facebook, look us up, we love to chat :-) -Happy Hunting, Mu$k

I was not able to find the Argonnessen group on Facebook. Maybe closed groups don't show up in search.

Later...Okay. I finally did fine the group. Would you send me an invitation to join it? My Facebook name is Gerry Wright and my profile picture is a white chick with glasses and long brown hair who is wearing a bright blue shirt.
