Thumbs up Bane and Elemental Crafting

My suggestion here is to bring more use from soul gems that are vastly unused currently. Rather than arrows and things how about using the soul Gems. Weak = Lesser Bane, Regular = Bane, Strong = Greater bane. This could work for all of them as even construct and undead gems are attainable. Would also add value to a caster specific spell and the vacuum greensteel recipe. Further, elemental damage crafting should stay as normal, but allow Flaming (or element) II, III, and IV based on the same process of incremental soul gem use. The code wouldn't be too awfully complicated as it only changes the required ingredient to change and a copy/paste of other recipes. Trying to carry around tons of specific monster-type arrows in already cluttered quivers is not efficient. But gems have their own bag and are easily attained.
I have not yet begun, to defile myself.

    /signed.

They originally used soul gems for traps. Not sure why, but I think grafting Bane items is more appropriate.

And slaying arrows? Allow us to craft those as well.

/Signed. I hate having to find hard-to-find arrows in order to craft certain banes and greater banes. I like the idea of using soul gems instead. Either that or let us craft those hard to find arrow sets, or simply remove the requirement altogether. Essentially there are certain recipes, such as greater elemental bane, that I feel like I'll never be able to craft because I can't find the arrows.

I'm confused. Bane shards already use soul gems as part of the recipe.

You're not confused, you're old and forgetful like your crazy uncle Al.

They used to be; changed a while back.
Ghallanda - now with fewer alts and more ghostbane
