I've fiddled with a bunch of settings and can't seem to figure out how to fix this one. Whenever I enter a post (like this one) or reply to a post, I end up typing in black characters on a dark grey background. It's almost impossible to read what I'm typing (like right now). To read the text I have to ctrl-A to highlight everything so that I get white characters on a blue background. Anyway, this is crazy. Is there a way to fix this?By the way, I tried changing to the "default mobile" setting but that did not work. The screen was readable with a white background, but a lot of other stuff was messed up. Thanks!

Thank you for that reply, super-fast ninja! I think it's a bit crazy that I need to install an add-on into Firefox and then install a special style in order to be able to use the DDO forum (how could Turbine let something as crazy as this be in production?), but I've done it and it's now working beautifully. Settings > General Settings > Miscellaneous Options > Enhanced Interface Cleared that issue right up for me. Firefox and Chromium.

For what it's worth, I tried all the different options there and they didn't make any difference for me, at least with IE. Anyway, I've been using Firefox with the suggestion above and it's working great. Originally Posted by enochiancub

Another bad feature of the Turbine color scheme is that quoted text is the inverse of regular text. (White text on black background becomes black text on white background.) That is poor design that really should be addressed, in addition to it being hard to read what you're typing.
