    Default Weapon Finesse and Handwraps

    Currently weapon finesse works with handwraps, and one of the known issues (from the live release notes):
    The Deepwood Stalker enhancement "Improved Weapon Finesse" is not applying to Unarmed attacks or Handwraps.

    From the recent Lamannia release notes:
    Rogue Assassin:
    Tool-tip for Dagger in the Back now clarifies that “This does not work with handwraps. Handwraps are considered Unarmed Combat, not Melee Weapons.”
    now as far as I know, both dagger in the back and Improved weapon finesse work exactly the same, leading me to wonder if there's any intention of fixing improved weapon finesse to finally work with handwraps, or if a decision has been made to stop calling it a bug and start calling it a feature? (resulting in handwraps excluded from having dex used as a damage modifier)

    official word would be appreciated, as I currently have a dex-based monk who's been waiting for quite some time now for improved weapon finesse to (finally) be fixed.
