drow elf 3rd life wizard build for enchantment

Hello to all,

A few questions please:-)

Iam a 3rd life legend lvl 25 drow elf pure wizard and before i was necro specced arch mage and now i want to become a pure crowd controlled specced wiz.

without any items on or epic destiny's going i have the following stats:-

str 12
dex 14
con 20
int 33
wiz 12
cha 14

feats greater focus enchantment,evocation and necromancy.
epic feats spell penetration, mental toughness which gives 200 sp

now probably if i want to purely be crowd control i can drop the feat evocation and necromancy?

what other things do you suggest? as with all my items on and epic destiny draconic i only get a enchantment dc of 52 with buffs and people say i need at least 57 dc enchantment for say epic elite devil assault?

so how the hell do i get my dc up to lvl 57 or higher Please:-)

I would ask do you have the following things:

items:
+8 int item and +3 insight and +1 exceptional int and litany of the dead
amrath yugo pots for intelligence
+4 or better int tome
+3 enchant dc item (such as twilight)

feats:
epic spell focus enchantment
past life: wizard grants +1 dc to all spells
could also add past life: bard for additional +1 to enchantment dcs

ed:
be in magister, it sucks but get better dcs if you take all int in magister, 2 twists of int and 1 twist of the bard thing that gives +1 int and additional spell pen, or maybe 1 int and the bard thing with the spellpoint booster from exalted angel if you end up on odd int.

thats all i can think of for now, probably forgetting couple of things, if i remember them ill post. hope at least a little helpful

Hi there,

Ok here are my new stats with all items on including +3 insightful item

str 22
dex 22
con 28
int 52
wiz 18
cha 21

feats enchantment focus, greater focus and epic focus
spell pene,greater spell pene and epic spell pene

so in theory my int can be from unbuffed 52 with ship buffs amrath pots and +2 skill pots from the ddo store my int can be 58.


But that still only gives me a mx dc of 54 with 2 past lifes added so the only thing i can see is to reincarnate again but this is too much hard work also doing the completionist is too much work for only an additonal +1 dc.

I still have to get the lotd book which will bump it up +1 to dc 55 but i think for most things a dc of 54 would suit most epic hard quests ok not epic elite but some epic elite quests are easier than others.

For epic hard most definitely. High 40s is fine, low 50s is curbstomp territory.
