Default Quick simple/dirty/fast question(what 2 make from cove)

Right to the point: Should I make 2 of each of the trinkets from cove? Good idea or bad?(I have 6K shards(not boasting)).

If more info is needed let me know! I'm always way to verbose in these so! Trying 2 keep it short this time!

If you have shared bank, you may not need to make more than one of each trinket. It depends on how many characters you might expect to want to use the same trinket at the same time, and how much of a hassle you consider it to swap it between them.

Hahahaha! That's exactly it! Right to the point! You hit the nail on the head! I do have 80 shared bank spaces so>< 8 toon slots left as well.

    Hmmmm, decisions, decisions!

I find the search/spot trinket nice, made a full set of t2 for my trapper leveling.
Stalwart trinket is nice because of the hp&fortif.
But i like Attack Speed of Mobility Crafted Trinket better which gets every melee TR of my Chars.
For Caster a Ioun Stone is still the better stuff, since 200sp from lvl4 on are better then 50 stacking and SF Necro/Ench you dont need and you have Greater SF when you need it for DC casting later.

    Other then that i made
#) lvl 12 t1 / 16 t1 / 20 t3 of the Cavalery Plate and Duelist Leather 2times (i like the armor for TR, although lvl16 is probably better to use the madness armor)
    #) lvl 8 t1 / 16 t3 / 20 t3 of the Dagger (lvl8 is t1 better then upgraded, lvl16 the t3 makes it really useful with 3 major lore, lvl20 is t1 ok for clicky but i wanted it upgraded)
#) a set of Brawling Gloves for my monks all t2
#) lvl 12 t1 / 16 t1 / 20 t1 Shield, i want to upgrade them to t2 but not sure if i get the Shards, not the best but nice for a build i want to make.
#) 2 Runearms t3 (just because ^^, well actually i need one for a build other is just because its cheap and bta)

Also got enough Shards for 2 Flasks but if i will craft them depends on confirmation of the devs that the Flask is bugged and gets fixed.

Well thats for me, maybe you can pull some info out of this equip mess ^_^

Nice, nice! :P! ! Ya so far I made 3 tier 3 epic spyglasses(I love them!!!), Remade my hat for my monk(sneak attack +5/jump +15).

Finished upgrading my 2 tier 3 epic brigand cutlasses/scimitars for my bard. Now have to decide what to use the 6K shards on.

Also the lower level stuff, ugh the clicking!!! (from highest level gem to level 12 or 16, will be a PITA!)

Only other things if I don't make at least 1 full set of all 4 trinkets, some level 12/16 rings or level 12/16 spyglasses, but I am unsure on these/those.

    Cheers! :P! !

I would say it's usually not worth taking something to tier 3 unless it's the level 20 version. However, if you have lots of shards, then maybe it is. Last time cove was here i took a level 16 buccaneer ring to tier 3 just to get dexterity +6 instead of +5. At the time, that was as high as stats went, and i knew it would bother me if i wanted to continue to wear the ring with only +5 on it. At the time, i had no epic characters, so i made no level 20 items. This time, i have so far made level 20 tier 3 versions of the cavalry plate, duelist leathers, spyglass, and buccaneer ring. Since they remain bta, they are nice just to have in your stable, maybe even for characters or tr's you haven't made yet.

    Hmm made me think i need maybe 2 tier3 lvl20 Spyglass ^^
btw the Hat doesnt stay minlvl0 or?

Yeah clicking is a pita, get an autoclicker programm
(lots for free out there, just make sure to run virus scan on it)
i break down gems while goin for a smoke and so
(well my little niece does that, nothing to see here for GM/Devs :P and in no way i would use an autoclicker to evade that major pita you call Trade window :P )

I thought about making also a set of the doublestrike weapon but i dont see much use in it other then for getting doublestrike.
Tank weapon looks nicer but then again tanks are almost useless and not implented in the way i like. (love the Warhammer online tankstyle)

no, the thing that the heal seems 1) not to heal enough and 2) doesnt remove poison and co.
The description does say its the heal spell and the resto spell but it does appear they made a new effect and screwed something up.

Well at least thats what i did read last about it, so i made a ticket but still no answer.

yeah t3 is mostly to pricey for the non20 items
only some are worth the shards.
for me its lvl16 dagger, 3 major lore are nice.
other then that i would only upgrade when it adds a superior effect or sets a stat straight and i plan to use that item a lot.
But t2 is nice for most, especially spyglass and gloves

It appears to heal exactly as much as it's supposed to for me. I only bothered to make one for my challenge farmer monk; all my other alts bluebar heal:

    1.1 Monk Improved Recovery I
    1.1 Monk Improved Recovery II
    1.1 Monk Improved Recovery III
    1.1 Human Improved Recovery I
    1.1 Human Improved Recovery II
    1.1 House Jorasco ship buff
    ----
    1.771561

Heal flask is caster level 11:

    110 * 1.771561 = 194.87171

    Right on the money:

The one thing I have made for the last 2 cove's has been 500 of the air ele gems....fabulous for tr's and soloing- min level 4- they rock, make great presents too.

Very dull to have to grind the gems for doubloons, but hey-ho

Default 100 shards: Tier 1 Cunning trinket

Tier 1 Cunning trinket giving +50/100 sp to anyone where the blue bar matters. I know an Ioun stone is +200/400 sp but from level 13ish you wear archmagi somewhere else and let the trinket stack. Then swap out as the sp are used.

I had some shards left over from last year and made 2 for new alts.

at 14+ i appreciate the +2 Spell penetration from Ioun Stone

I have multiple of each of the bold, stalwart trinkets, but I also level multiple toons at the same time. I only have one cunning and one clever as I don't use them as much with my playstyle. I find the bold/stalwart more useful on all my characters.

IMO the best things from Crystal Cove are the Greater Cunning Trinket as a swap-in before shrining and buffing, the Epic Treasure Hunter's Spyglass, the Epic Swashbuckler for its amazing crowd control abilities and a BtA pirate hat with some universally useful mods; with the Kobold haste buff for running Crystal Cove and Cannith Challenges. I wouldn't bother with anything else, except maybe the Greater Nimble Trinket for the 1% dodge and Blur.

I made a set of Spyglasses for my soon-to-TR rogue. Might make a set of Smallblades for same, as soon as I decide whether I'm going Assassin or Acrobat on her next life.

Other than that, the only items that interest me are the ML 12 hats for my casters. Got the +6 Wis/15 Concentration for my Monk, +6 Int/15 Concentration for my Wiz, and +6 Cha/15 Concentration for my Sorc. Still working on shards to make the +6 Cha/15 Concentration for my FvS, and +6 Wis/15 Concentration for my Cleric. Again, those are all ML 12 hats, and I can't beat that with Cannith crafting.

As for the trinkets, I don't see myself using them in my gear setups. Cannith crafting lets me make more useful ones for my casters, and I usually put Melee/Ranged Alacrity 10% on the trinkets for my non-caster chars.
Once upon a time, I was part of a team, and we saved some children. That was long ago and far away, and, yes, I am that old.

concentration items are rather common, as are +6 stat items (the tapersties has a +6int&+6cha hat with magi, as well as a +6 wis with +5reflex and a yellow slot, both are lvl 11) but +6 random loot are also common and you can find Race restricted one for like lvl 9. so I dont know about wasting the hat for something like that. Personally I go for the superior false life, its lvl 9 and its the only way to get superior false life until epic levels

The items there are probably the 16 tier 3 dagger, the 20 tier 3 spyglass, and the tier 3 trinkets
