Hi,

I'm levelling the paladin version at the moment, on a fifth life toon with no relevant past lives.

It was for the sake of trying something different from what I usually play, and the juggernaut has been fun and effective so far.

On an elite streak, as a test for the build, it's been fine both solo and in group. It seems likely that it will get a lot stronger in the mid levels too.

Thanks.

In the character planner Forum Export screen, along the bottom right is a Forum Background selector: Dark or Light. You had Light selected, meaning the colors were designed to be displayed on a white (or any very light) background.

Personally, I'm thinking of something like this for my /2 pally version:
Head: EE Black Dragon Helm (Green, Yellow)
Neckalce: Min2 HP Item
Trinket: Planar Focus of Porwess w/ +8 Con
Goggles: EE Intricate Field Optics w/ +8 Cha (Green, Yellow)
Armor: T3 Epic Black Scale (Blue)
Cloak: Adamantine Cloak of the Bear
Belt: EH or EE Girdle of Giant's Brawn (at least Green, Colorless - the higher slot from the EE version of this item is not important to me, as this is where I'm planning to slot the Globe)
Bracers: EE Bracers of Twisting Shade
Gloves: EE Nether Grasps
Boots: EE Treads of falling Shadow
Ring 1: T3 Ring of Master Artifice (Green, Colorless)
Ring 2: Seal of House Avithoul (stat irrelevant)
Ring 2 Swap: Seal of House Dun'Robar (+10 stunning, stat otherwise irrelevant)

I know a few people are trying to get the Epic Blademark's Docent to get a good trip DC, but I'd have to see how high I could get before I try farming it. In addition, if I was going for the /2 ranger version, I'd rather have the EE Dream Visor than the EE Intricate Field Optics.
Tbh, I think both item sets achieve about the same thing; only relevant things I'm missing compared to your set is PRR from adamantine cloak, exceptional seeker +5 and possibly stunning +10. I'm no fan of the black armor - it's terribly expensive for what it does; I find red a lot more convenient. Superior parrying makes up for not having +8 cha/dex and with the dream visor ill probably end up doing similar damage.

I've heard superior parrying won't stack come u17, that's a rumor worth checking out if it's planned for your gear set-up.

Also, I'm still a bit sore about red scale, so I'm not using it. Only expensive part of black scale will be CoH, though...and I'm only worrying about tier 3 after my cleaver/pinion are tier 4. Interestingly enough, my AA and Sorc will have too many slots...this character will have about 2 fewer than I'd like.

Stack with what? it's an insight bonus so should stack with resistance, morale etc.

In that case, I'm just going crazy, but I'd check it out anyways.

After a bit of looking, I may have been thinking of superior stability, which wouldn't have worked anyways. Either that, or I'm going crazy.

That sounds more likely (the stability part, not the crazy part )

I really like the look of this build and it's something I'd like to eventually TR my first life Barb to, but I'm not quite there yet. Still quite lacking in the gear department and I'd like to get 1-2 past lives done before tackling something like this.

Still, I really like the idea and I'm looking forward to trying it, assuming it hasn't been nerfed by the time I get around to it.

Planned weapons are mainly T4 Cleaver and T4 Pinion, both slotted with good.

Postumus: Class has no direct affect on PRR (though PrEs can have an affect).
Not a bad gearset. Keep us posted post U17 and see what you find works best in Live? I'd hate to start the farming and not know what to aim for.

Edit: Why is everyone clamoring for a Cleaver now and not an eSoS? Did I miss something while I was gone?

I'm going to suggest you put "[code.]" and "[/code.]" around the entire build so it doesn't stretch the thread, but remove the "."'s. Thanks.

You can use tags to display raw codes without having to manually break them. Noparse codes were created to allow posting links to NSFW stuff that don't actually link but can be easily copy & pasted without manual cleanup.

In this case:
and
The set bonus, along with being a solid contender weapon-wise...the PRR sways me pretty heavily.

Also easier for a lot of people (like Haek, the OP) to get a Cleaver + 25 CoH than the SoS ingredients.

I hadn't even thought about the Set Bonus. God I am out of it aren't I?

I asked mainly because I'm a Shard away from my esos myself, but if Cleaver can contend better, then I'm going for it on my Ranger Jug.

What are the benefits of Cleaver vs. Syreth though? Other than higher base damage?

I am a shard away on TWO toons. Been that way for years. I gave up even thinking I will get an SOS. One has Cleaver already, getting one for the other toon is trivial. Getting the commendations is grind. Probably a lot less grind than ever getting an SOS shard. So that explains a lot right there.

Default Twf

Funny you say that....I was thinking that I want to swap out Zen Archery and could go ITWF. Then I was thinking easy enough to go ahead and drop Precision for GTWF. That means I could use add wraps and of course Celestia to the arsenal. I think adding the TWF feats would really make sense if one could get schimi or rapiers with Obscenity on them

Inventory is already an issue for me on this build, staves, bows, xbows, scrolls, components, wands, pots, arrows & bolts (extra quiver in inventory), sheesh.....I'm always having to dump inventory between quests!!! TWF would just make it worst

Being a shard away from eSoS doesn't mean you're getting it any time soon even if you're actively trying to get it.
