    Default Crafting where have you gone?

    Slight rant ON\
    Ok this is a slight rant post but not quite, first I would like to know when/if they are gonna pay attention to this again since the only real update we got was to add flexable shards(usefull but not that much), and the second thing I would like to know, is there any forseeable update to the UI because quite frankly it bites. I play turbine's other game and it's crafting UI is the bomb.

    Sugestions and idea's:

    1. Make it so when sundering greater essences to lesser's we can either sunder all or indicate a number to sunder.
    2. Make it so when crafting shards we can do the same as above craft all(untill mats run out) or a specific number of shards.
    3. Combine the altars or make them close enough to open multiple windows to do all the crafting at once. Come on is it really necessary to run around the corners to sunder/craft shard/craft item(huge wast of time).
    4. Add more updated shards and I'm not talking about as soon as a new prefix/suffix comes out to add it to the list, but more down the lines of 6-8 months after a new one is added it should appear in the list at an appropriate level.
    5. Add some high level shards that have double prefix/suffix on them and only allow ONE or the other to be on a crafted item at a time.
    6. Finally can we get the above mentioned "Combined crafting altar" either in more locations(especially Eveningstar) or as a ship buff maybe to replace the usless stone of change.


    Now I know some players are gonna say well this is a low priority to you so in a pre-emtive response I say don't responde to this then. To the crafters out there that enjoy crafting and sometimes make some plate doing it I say it's high time this gets an overhaul. Sign if you agree.

    Would love to see more shards available that match the new prefixes/suffixes. Jack up the level as high as you want - - as a capped crafter, I'm getting bored with what is available to craft. Better yet, how about we get shards that allow for things that have been in the game for quite some time. I'm talking about you, paralyzing!

    I'd just like to say that I agree with your general train of thought, but I disagree with your sentiment on flexible shards.

    Prior to the flexi update crafting was in kind of a bad state due to the increased quality of random gen loot drops. Flexi shards bring something to the table for the crafter that is not available even with the best loot gen luck. Being able to craft a guild slotted +4con of improved false life goggles and free up the belt slot for a Spare Hand made my TR junky (he is a clonk this life) so happy!!

    Even at endgame where crafting is not so prevalent as the early holy-burst <metal-type> of Greater Bane heyday, these flexi shards are proving valuable to those that can make them. I have 2 capped toons, 2 lvl 24s, a lvl 22, and then my TR junky toon and alts. Those capped and nearly capped characters are having to make some extremely difficult gearing choices and being able to craft a Greater Conjuration focus cloak or melee alacrity boots has eased up some of that pain.

    I would love to see more shards added and wouldn't even mind if there were an associated level cap increase, but I for one <3 the dev that implemented flexi shards.

    P.S. Devs, in addition to those para / disrupt / smiting shards... don't forget Toughness & 10/25% exceptional fortification

    I agree with most of what you said here but I re-affirm my opinion that they are useful but not that much since most of your post was only about your toons(since flex shards are BtA) and gracefully submit that they should make unbound flex shards.

    And no one has any opinions on my sugestions?

    Make flexi shards actually work on any slot. Only certain combinations are still possible.
