Lightbulb Undead necromancer and new primal avatar form

As there hasnt been a character wipe, i havent had chance to test if the new primal avatar transformation works while in undead form.

Bit of a long shot... but would be cool if it would

Unfortunately, Avatar of Nature doesn't work with the Undead forms. Using one removes the previous form from your character.

Though it would be pretty cool to be a floating shadowy tree with glowing eyes!

Can this be added to the list of "maybe someday" like zombie bears?

You should talk to Eladrin then.

We may move slowly on this since I'd then need to take things like Angelic Zombie Bears into account. What the heck is that thing?
Heck let's go further. I want a Mechanical Angelic Zombie Bear!

Not to try and spread doom and gloom, but if the druid/PA polymorphs don't get being around to stackable with undead stuff you could relable the PM undead forms so that it's clear they don't stack, that one replaces the other, bu calling the Undeadification (is that a word) a polymorph too. (Is polymorph the offical term for those?)
That's not lag, it's just DDO trying to become turn-based again.

Aren't they all technically shapeshifts? Do any shapeshifts stack?

Any polymorphing won't stack, you can only have one creature type at once.
e.g. a zombie bear would be undead, not animal.
(surely there's exceptions but nothing normal)

Of course, this would be totally possibly if you were a NE Druid or a Blighter.
I blame DDO's limited alignment system for denying us our Spectral Trees and Zombie Bears =O

    ;P

Well, it IS Eberron. Toss some Gnomes in, get Cannith involved, and I'm sure we'll see that proposal come to fruition quickly.

I was generally a bit disappointed that there wasn't a bigger crossover between Spirit use and pale masters, given that they both has to do with the afterlife. Even though pale masters more clumsily try to harness it through the ill fitting shoe of arcane magic it would have been nice with some crossover between wraiths and spirit in particular.

Default Avatar of nature and improved critical

Does the (wood woad?) form use unarmed combat, and if so, does that mean improved critical: bludgeoning helps it?

Well if Undead forms are not made to work with anything and still buggy as hell.
see: no way to remove stat damage [other then UMD48! also with UMD lag no option infight and 1 clicky in the whole game], Items are not working with it, Spellabsorb cripples you
Could we at least get the sp cost get removed or reduced to 5sp like the Druid forms?

Seriously this is one of the most longstanding, completely crippling issues and no one seems to care about it..

    btw
i hope that with the enhancement pass neg energy spellpower will be seperated from PM pre, so that Wraithblades and Zombiemonks also can have selfheal that is not totally gimped.
also for gods sake remove the zombie attack speed penalty, slow moving speed is more then annoying enough, making zombie completly useless is not needed.

sry for the derail and i hope its worded soft enough to not hurt anyone..
i dont intend that but i say it my way and its usually rougher then people can withstand..
