Pulled one yesterday and couldn't see any on the AH so I was curious how much they have been selling for?

Ouch. Glad all I've pulled before the fix were [the already unbound] red scales, then.

I still haven't had any luck finding green scales- be it from drops or trades or sales- so I've got nothing. :P

As I moved it from my caster to my main, they most certainly are not bound anymore.

Some old scales are BtC, some aren't. It's seemingly random.

Could be based on location it was acquired from, since there ARE multiple areas that drop the scales.

True, but a friend and I both pulled a BtC FGDS in the same run before the patch (eDon't Drink The Water), both stored them in our unbound large ingredient bags, and post-patch his was unbound and mine wasn't, so based on that it seems pretty random.

good luck hope you get what you want for it , but honestly with the stats that it comes with I still put the red more valuable besides for the peeps that just want a set to have it I'm not sure you will get that much ...

On Cannith I've seen people trading 3 reds for a green. On Marketplace forums I've seen 2 reds for a green. Greens are definitely worth a lot more than reds right now since people have been farming reds for years.

well good for them I wouldn't , besides them looking cool the stats aren't the greatest , but sooner or later I'll probably put a set on my caster just to have it / free bump

Nevermind that Red is, while awesome, still just another generic combat armor, of which there are plenty to choose from depending on your build.

Except for specific builds or gear arrangements, there isn't a better armor for casters right than Green Scale [since it's only one of three ways to get Power Store, one requires an unimpressive set, the other requires giving up your valuable weapon slot].

I know on Sarlona there hasn't been a single green scale available for trade or sale yet, because what few people have are being hoarded

The new red armor isn't bad / I wouldn't call it generic imho considering so many want it / have it / use it
