    you can summon unlimited ammounts of summon monster creating your own army now.

    Meh, that aint a bug, that's DDO going back to it's roots.

    Heck, with enough of them, I'm sure we can even get it back to turn-based.

    (I kid, I kid. Of course you should be limited. 5, maybe as a reasonable suggestion? Mystra knows, 1 on it's own in most elite at-level content is a lost cause.)

    Followup: it would seem the break is in the alternate summons line.

    PMs are still limited to 1, shroud clickies as well, and selecting the first option from the drop-down re-summoned, while the alternates summoned more.

    I dunno, I'm all for them making summoners a feasible route, though that'd require modification to the structure via enhancements/destinies/feats, not via inherent elements.

    On that, adding in the Leadership feat to give you a single customizable hireling-esque summon would be fun for the build.

    Being one of those who remembers the 80 earth elemental vod runs, I would say no, keep it limited.
