    Default Can we get a fix for abilities stopping movement?

    I was under the impression that after the enhancement pass the abilities that stop the movement when used will be eventually fixed but seems like it has been thrown off the table. In U24 Patch 2 Release Notes, I have noticed that one of those abilities has been actually fixed but of course it was from the new shiny Barb tree. The other ones will probably stay forgotten.

    What about Arrow of Slaying? Or Druid's pet summon? Can we get a fix too?

    Feel free to post some other ones that you have noticed.

    Draconic Fury does this as well. If you move after casting, you lose the clicky but don't get the bonus. If you cast while jumping or in auto-run, your toon freezes in place but you get the buff.

    Very annoying.

    They meant to tell you... this MMO is actually going to become like most other MMOs out there and this won't be possible.

    Hi,

    Good post. I'd like to see these arbitrary restrictions removed too.

    They are pointless, annoying and inconsistent. I can't believe time and effort was spent coding them into the game.

    If it's not going to be fixed correctly, I don't want it fixed. I've seen so many duct tape fixes lately that I would rather just suffer through that second of no movement, then see a half done rushed temporary fix to be temporarily fixed later again.

    The Strike Down one drives me mental. I always miss it running into a group of enemies.

    Inner Focus from Grandmaster of Flowers also stops movement, I believe.

    I'd love to see them do a slight overhaul of Shadowdancer when they tweak the rogue trees as the upper tiers are a bit outdated. Same goes for Grandmaster of Flowers, Fatesinger, and Magister.

    Logged in today for a quick round through the active abilities in EDs. Turned out it is even more than I expected. Planning to work on enhancement list as well but unfortunately I don't have acces to many different trees at this moment.

    I'd be happy if they removed that one second "root" side effect from active skills like Diplomacy and the like.

    At some point in history (on either Boldrei or Keeper, it's been a while) you could diplo, intimidate or bluff 'on the run', I'm not sure why that was changed. Combat was more fluent and much more fun without the annoying root.

    Going into old-timers mode:

    Back in the day, you couldn't shoot a bow while moving unless you had Shot on the Run feat.

    Ranged combat was really fun then.

    Anvil and Volcano are fine. Sundering Swing or Tactical genius - dunno, noone has Sunder or CE.

    Every DI ability works fine, tested them all.

    The only one broken in DI is Draconic Fury.

    I know that half of the abilities are cra.p but I have nothing much to do in the game nowadays....so I search for bugs Maybe I will end up with a list of all bugs in DDO (****, it would be a long list).
