This is for you. When we run shroud. I will not be standing in blades when we fight Harry. I don't care how good you are at healing. Frankly, I don't trust you to miss out on my chest. "But why, Kobay? I can just raise you at end!" Well... except you can't I've been getting long loading screens that send me back before I can Rez. Grrr...!!!! /rage lol ok. /rageover >.> I'm bad at raging. Perhaps just a good warning for those having some lag issues. Maybe it is possible to increase time before you are sent back? I'd love that. Then I'd be more willing to keep hitting Harry. Don't take it as an offense when I step back when blades come in. Those things just hurt when they are all together like that, and I ain't no barb with 1000 hp.

<3 Still love my healers. I give you all SP pots, and my 200% heal amp is just for you. Thanks for the heals!

FYI

In Part 5, after you complete the quest, you can go back to Parts 1,2,3, or 4 via portals that appear on the wall.

So you can always go back for your chests in Part 4 if you need to.

But if you want to step out when the blades come in, that's okay... Just make sure the healers are NOT targetting you for mass heals, because if you step out, everyone else is going to die.

Thats nice, besides the fact that you can go back after the fact, my healers are happy to let you die on your way out of the masses. Now if you are backing out and for some reason masses are targeted on you expect people to be a bit annoyed. I would be.

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but after pt5 is done you can go to the other parts of the shroud via the portals that appear in pt5.

One of last normal shrouds made me thinking....

Given the recent nerf to blades, wouldnt it now make sense to simply clump together, wail everything dead and just heal the blades off.

Only real danger that exists post changes is that someone runs out of range to the other side and dies, its not hard or resource demanding to heal blades off with aura ticking and replenishing bursts at hand. Especially if there is two clerics with auras. All this running around in silly circles.... i get it....its entertaining

As for unexpected jumping out of blades... well if you are healing target then everyone will hate you for that. If the healer doesent react quick, it can get pretty ugly.

I regularly target a monk with my heals - if they have decent HP - improved evasion is more important than HP vs. DBFs and that is the only thing Harry really kills anyone with (IMO).

But I do let that monk know they are the target because I have had a few move around too much and had to go back to the mana-sponge barb.

Lately though I have gone with the highest HP character that will be meleeing in the first 4 in the party - easier for me to heal - target harry - DP - retarget (F2-4)- heal and repeat.

IIRC this behaviour is not WAI. I think it's supposed to make you live and not kill you right after. Not entirely sure...

If this is the correct behavior, an easy fix would be to send the stones to near the altar, after it is activated.

Kinda depends how tough you are.

If your still 18 and sub 400 hit points then i'd be very wary about mixing it with Harry. Or i'd watch my own health like a hawk and have some self healing ready.

That is a good point in general. Healers cant be everywhere at once and having some self healing and keeping an eye on your own hit points is really part of advanced play.

If your an 800 hit point Barb with no self healing and one day you die and start badmouthing the Healers then you'll deserve what you get. This will probably involve learning to roleplay a soulstone. As far as i'm aware only Hordo has ever perfected this art or profitted from it !!

On the other hand if your a 600+ hit point well equipped Monk then you should be in melee. If the PL asks everyone to stay in thats exactly what you should do

I routinely target the squishiest bastard with enough HP to survive until the blade spiral in.

Reason being: By this point I'm sure I've had to throw them at least 2 individual heals, while the rest of the group was >50%.

Meh i don't target other players i just stand right in there next to the group(target harry) with aura, burst, mass heal and Divine P and cycle through. Sure i get hit but i like it rough.
