I've ran this place 50+ times, so annoying not to see one, at least 40 of them have been on elite... I've got no chances with this trinket it seems, I find it hard to keep running this place now... sigh

I solo farmed eye of the titan on elite and I got a Xachosian bug around my 7th run, but I had ran out of SP and it got away because my Necrotic Bolt kept missing.

Then I made sure to put a FW on the clam before opening it, and I got the eardweller just two runs after o.O.

It was around 9 or 10 runs in total with two Xachosian spawns.

where is quest giver for I dream of Jeets., Looked all over IQ and couldn't find her.

It doesn't seem hard to get it to drop anymore. I had it drop twice in one day (once on hard and once on elite). The only problem I had was being fast enough to kill it. I still don't have it >.< but it definitely dropped.

inside the manor thing (the only inside area in IQ) there's a lady sitting in a chair next to jeets. she will give you the quest once you complete the inspiration center quest once (the one with the funky music)

It has double the chance to drop on elite (with a really small chance of seeing two creatures at once). Happy hunting.

i was helping a guildmate and got 2 Eardwellers dropped for us at once in eyes of titan elite.

Had to log my gimp wiz to loot the second one.

25 elite runs and 3ish on hard, a few in the Eye of the Titan but most on the optional chest in Dreaming dark, where it dropped.

Might be a good idea for people to put down a CK or acid fog with the wall of fire on the chest. My FW only ticked once and he had a sliver of life left...slippery little guy almost got away! I missed with 2 ray spells before the 3rd took him out.

Dreaming Dark optional on hard (Not entirely sure of the runs total, but a guesstimate)
Ransacked the chest, and did 6-8 runs afterwards, with an Eye of the Titan elite run mixed in. It dropped just a few minutes ago in Dreaming Dark, for my Wizard, Thumbtack. Seems to me that this place is a good place to try for it. If you have heighten spell, and perhaps some negative level bestowing spells, you can pretty much FoD/Wail the Dream creatures. (I also used Wyoh, and her Implosion got a few too.)

I had a drop couple of minutes ago on Titan elite solo. Felt like a noooob when the thingy ran away escaping without a single sword hit.
I tried to run the quest again but i think didnt wait Titan enough and it bugged out idle. Then had to log due do extreme boredom.

I'm feeling better after reading this thread , as more people seem to have lost their chances too.

In all seriousness, this thread was helpful feedback for me. The drop rate was too low and grinding the same quest over and over is boring. Enjoy!

Wow amazing I might have to try again for this, after giving up on it weeks ago.

So other locations are I Dream of Jeets end chest? and Dreaming Dark optional chest? Which optional chest is that? Does it still drop only on hard/elite?
