Thanks for the info Flimsy Guess I'll try a few on normal or hard now, that end fight & reavers rough me up pretty bad soloing elite hehe.

I suggest that in the future you avoid loot drops of this type. I don't mean the increase on elite; that's fine, and actually reduces the problem a bit.

A tiny chance of getting an amazing item by doing something short and simple is less fun than a higher chance of it dropping from a longer, harder quest. That is particular true in the context of this Dreaming Dark adventure pack, whose final component (the battle against the huge king Quori) has hardly any (known) loot-incentive to do the encounter. (Yeah, that boss blocks access to the dreamforge, but you only need to use it once per 24+ runs of the other quests)

Simply put, the rewards for farming Eye of the Titan are greater than doing some more challenging and interesting encounters. (The Weapons Shipment in Shavarath exhibits the same problem)

Oops. I just looked at the dungeon again, and I was wrong. This is what happens with many iterations... you forget how the final version works.

It only drops on hard or elite.

Elite has double the chance of hard mode.

Does not drop on normal or casual at all (and that's why some people have been running themselves into the ground with no drops, I wager).

Does not depend on ransack at all.
