Thoughts on race options;

I would have to say Human.

The extra feat coupled with the ability to better self heal/get healed is very nice.

The +2 to damage the warforged gets is nice but if you do alot of Epic content with him I think you will miss the 3 to attack being a WF than the 2 to damage being a human.

The penalty attack shouldn't be a problem either way, with a +10 weapon and epic spectral gloves.

At this point I'm leaning towards human myself, but warforged is very tempting for bladesworn critical smites.

It will be a beast no matter what race you pick.
I would go WF just for the sake of sillier DPS.
The WF thf enhancements however are pretty much a waste. Higher chance to proc force ritual, yay.
Kotc and capstone procs on every glancing.

WF dont only get +2 to dmg lol

They get WF power attack III which is +3 to dmg, or +6 to dmg with THF.
Bladesworn gives + 4 str and +4 dmg.
Also with a bard, I have no problems hitting anything on epic, except when there is dungeon alert maybe.
And this is coming from a person who 98% of the time twitches so I don't even get the rest of my BaB for attacks further down the chain.

Side note: Divine Sacrifice also adds +10 to hit for that attack. It doesn't say so in the description tho.

The human version has a better strength score, the warfored nets +2 damage.

They get WF power attack III which is +3 to dmg, or +6 to dmg with THF.
Bladesworn gives + 4 str and +4 dmg.

True but If I went WF I'd start with 18 str.

And I was just going off of the OP where he stated that the WF was +2 dmg/swing better than the human.

Its fine the way it is, the warforged power attack lines is +3 damage/swing when power attack is enabled. Most people know that you get double your bonus when using two handed weapons, it even says it in the description.

The docent of defiance is a nuisance for the most part IMO, unless you are mainly stationary when you are attacking. The quorforged docent of battle/dt armor(human) is the is the greater/superior false life item aswell, so swapping the docent for that reason would be inefficeint more times than not.

You shouldn't have a hard time hitting anything regardless, with an epic sword of shadows and a set of epic spectral gloves.

Indeed, I don't have a problem hitting anything with just a +3 weighted maul, let alone greensteel. One shard away from epic SoS
