Life happens, sometimes you need to leave for life.
If however you frequently abandon those you play with, I have to imagine you won't get in many groups anymore and its probably time for you to quit group games in general.

To true. I imagine there comes a point in each gamers life when he has to either chose to set down the key board and push the mouse away or become a hermit, unless you have either a VERY understanding wife or you do the smart thing and merry someone in your guild. It's happened, ever seen a WoW wedding? I have.

Or you have an actual relationship with your wife where you are in tune with each other. Most people do need some time together and some seperate, it just needs balance. If you are always being pulled away from the game you are out of touch with your wife's needs and you should have known that was a bad time to start playing.
RL tumps game.

raid or not, if you miss out on real action 'cause of video games, i think some consoling is needed![]()
PS: Greensteel RUINED the game! and you all know it!
less buffing, more nerfing!!!
to make it easier for those of you that wants to avoid me in game, all my characters are in "Bladesworn Mercenaries"
As stated already, sometimes things come up, and you gotta go....
These are some of the lines I've read off the forums... Heard some good ones too ingame:
AFK... Tornado! (seconds later, that player DCs)
AFK... Bear! (reply later... a bear was attacking my wife's bird feeders, she wanted me to do something about it)
AFK... I'm going to be sick! (me, on my bard as we start a VoD run. stomach bug... put me out of the game... missed the first half of the VoD, but since I was the bard....)
AFK... Dam the wife is home and she looks p!ssed
(Say): Haywire says, '"Hey, I don't come into yer home and play with things."'
Well it seems that the community is in agreement. It's just like I said I have seen a guy (Real loser by the way and uglier than a mud fence) turn away his way to hot for him girlfriend cause he was playing Marvel Vs. Capcom and I couldn't believe it.
She had bad luck with guys though, every relationship she had ended after exactly three months, usually not of her own doing. She even had one boyfriend who was diagnosed with lung cancer shortly after they started dating and was dead 2 months latter. Shame to, he was a nice guy.

there's one thing you never put in a trap if you're smart. If you value your continued existence. If you have any plans on seeing tomorrow then there's one thing you never, ever put in a trap.
Make it quick, take care of her and finish the raid.
Mabar - Ransacked.
Sure was nice of Turbine to give us our guild its own avatar.
My finace and I both play DDO. We wouldn't interrupt each other for...some...especially during a raid. Of course, we raid a hella lot more then we...get some...but we are happy none-the-less!
I say play together or don't play at all!
Tell her you have a headache.
Or get her started on "Mafia Wars." I haven't seen the wife in days.
What do you mean a -6 armor class is no good any more?
