The gift points described in the table are seperate from the monthly VIP program points (but to put it in D&D terms, they are considered seperate bonuses and therefor stack ).

Nope! We look at when you started until now. If your starting point was over a year ago, you're in the 1 year category, more than 2 years ago, in the 2 year category, etc. It's not actually based on the "quantity of months" it's based on your start date.

That's great to hear, probably woulda had a bunch of miffed customers that had some sort of billing issue due to expired cards or whatever.

I am also one of those folks that let DDO lapse for 1 whole day in the last 2.5 yrs due to an expired CC Card. Did we get an aswer on if that is going to matter? If not then Hello to 2999 bonus points and 1500 bought points.

That makes sense, when you pay your bill, you get the points. But how about those of us who six month subscriptions plans? For instance my renewal date is 12/9/09, will I get points on the 9th of every month? Not until I renew in December and then six months at once? Retroactive six months worth from my last renewal in June ?

That's really interesting... Not really fair if for example you left the game for a year and returned but at least an incentive for those who did leave for a while to come back to a bunch of easter eggs!
