It also sounds like an added incentive for players ho were here in beta, but left shortly afterward. They get the 2+ year points as well.

I didnt participate in the beta for DDO:U, but it looks like I qualify for the 2499 mark.

It's a little off topic from this thread, so those of you reading this who aren't participating in the VIP program in DDO Unlimited read no further, as this response is only pertaining to the above question buuut... to answer the question:

In a situation where you are doing a long plan for VIP rather than a single month (like a 3 month, 6 month, etc VIP plan), it still happens month to month. If you were on a 6 month plan, it doesn't make you wait until all the way at the end of your entire 6 month plan to get your VIP monthly stipend points

    Default Great news

Just one question from me -

I played Beta with one account and then subscribed to the main game but however i did it, I ended up with two logins under the same account - one for beta and one main.

Beta will end up with 500 + points i bought while the main will have 999 + 400 + ongoing 500 points a month from the 1st but first month may be a partial 500.

    Here's the question.

i only want one account - how can i merge the 500 beta points to the single account i'll be using in live? Or are they wasted?

Used DDO Store in Beta 250
    Subscriber on July 31st 999
VIP & Played Less Than 1 Year 400
    or VIP & Played 1 - 2 Years 900
    or VIP & Played 2+ Years 1,500
    Max Points Possible 2,999
2999 for me plus 6600 that I bought at the discount price $.01/point at 3300 points for $33 twice = 9600 points... WOOHOO! Plus my billing date is the 9th so that makes 10,100 points on the 9th! *happy dance*

Call customer service and they will merge the points, but that does mean the beta account will be locked out forever

    Re: beta login identity crisis

If you're using the same login name on live as you did in beta, you should be okay. But worst case you can contact account support and they should be able to tie your points to your live one. Your description mentions that you show 2 accounts (one beta one main in Stormreach). It *should* recognize your beta things and put it on the Stormreach, but if it gets confused, just contact account support with the information and they'll get you straightened out.

Well I had a problem with my subscription because I signed up for 1 year and being unemployed I couldnt subscribe for another year and they had to redo my accounts. I been playing continously since beta 1 is this going to affect my point total? Which BTW they still havent fixed this account being a founder account which I emailed twice about. Hence my concern.

    Thanks! This is great news!

I just have one question, perhaps I'm missing something... Are these points available for us on Sept. 1st? Or do we only get them when the F2P launches on the 9th? (Ok, that's two questions, but whatever... )

I guess I assumed that the full blown DDO:EU is available on the 1st and that included the DDO Store. So, I figured we'd get the points on the 1st as well. However, the announcement says the 9th.

Two different turbine accounts on the same turbine page. I shall wait and see if it recognises that i have a live account linked to the beta account.

I see two possibilities it makes my beta a F2P account and i need to ring and get the points transferred or

It sees it as one lammania account which stays a lammania account and one live account and all points get sent to the live account.
I think i shall wait and see how it plays out on the first.

Either way i'm thankful of the points and of the advice.

am I understanding that you have
    - An account you started with Stormreach originally but shut down a while back
    - When you came back you started a brand new account

Or did I misunderstand? If the above is accurate, it will be treating those as two different accounts because they were two different subs to Stormreach. The reconciliation relates to if you had a DDO Unlimited beta that isn't properly correlating with your live sub (so beta vs live, not live vs live)

I never stopped paying or playing, I started in Beta 1 over 3 years ago, bought the early edition and joined up with a guild in Headstart, I played for awhile, I signed up for a 1 year subscription, about a month ago it ended as I found out when I went to go log in to the game that day. I tried to resubscribe going back to monthly, I was told I could NOT do that and they had to redo my accounts, one of which is this new account "Mobeius" my original account was "Kaboth", and honestly, I dont recall if I am still using the same log in originally, I dont think so, they said something about getting characters transfered under the new account. I was "forced" to change accounts not from any lack of action from my part but due to a limitation in Turbines billing program.

Is that a little better sir? If you want you can pull my characters and see when they were "born" and such.
