So there are three reasons to remove this message:
1. The message is no longer useful as the novelty of the raid is over.
2. The increased player base due to server merge means that the message appears far too frequently.
3. The implementation of the message is buggy as it is tied to the lever pull instead of quest completion which exacerbates point 2.
Devs, remove it already. And if you have put one in for the new raid in Mod 5 make sure that it is not tied to something the players can do repeatedly after the quest is complete.
All I know is I hate seeing that pop up in the center of my screen. I don't hate the group that's doing it. I don't hate the raid itself. I hate the message that results from doing the raid
I don't care if it's my best friend or worst enemy pulling it for any reason. I do not care what other people are doing in game. You play the game your way and please leave me in peace to enjoy the game my own way.
I would support a way to opt out of the raid completion text. (Plus, then they could add a pop up for all the raids)
for now though:

I was just thinking this.
If nothing else, let me choose to disable the message.

Make the bad man stop.
To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women!
Go for the eyes Boo!
Anything that stops the message.. either by opt out or by message removal.

Turn it off.
OR
Make one for each raid with a toggle box.
OR
Turn it on for a new raid. Turn it off one mod later.

at least a disable option please
We on Argo have been lobbying for this for a while. From Day 1 when it came out, you simply could not pick a quest reward or manage your inventory without that hated.... message... covering everything up.
With the recent failure of the developers in removing the Reaver message spam in the last hotfix, Plynx of Argonnessen urges all devs to remove the message before it is too late and DDO players everywhere take matters into their own hands.

Get rid of these messages with the August 13th downtime please. These messages are friggin annoying.

Maybe make a town crier announce it in a specific area as it would be done in PnP D&D.
That way its on general chat and makes it more geared toward D&D. Unless someone really uses a loud booming voice announcing news to the people of Eberron in their D&D world. Then I guess for them the current system would be more realistic.
After fighting for years with community leaders whether or not Dungeons and Dragons is the work of Satan, I care very little how closely this game does or does not play like another game that you like. In fact, without D&D your other game would more than likely not exist. This is DDO. Play it, enjoy it or move along.
How about the following as an alternative to the message.
Outside of each raid quest is a NPC who will tell you the last ....20? people leading the raid and their success/failure. It could even show the difficulty and completion times.
Yes, please.
ONE message on success or failure, and only ONE.
While you're at it, please get it out of the middle of my screen, and keep it contained to the chat window.
This has become absurdly preposterous.

Change it to a General chat channel announce - so it cannot be seen in adventure instances. There is NO reason why I need to be harrased by it. And that's how I'm starting to feel about it - that this is a harrasing intrusion on my time spent playing DDO.
I don't want to see it. I don't need to see it. And I'm frankly sick & tired of seeing it.
This message was one of the single worst design elements in DDO - ever. It needs to be purged or significantly altered. Now.
