Default Downgrade to Legacy Epic Items (Goggles of Time Sensing)

Could there please be an option to downgrade to the old legacy versions of epic items?

Specifically, I liked the Haste clickie in the Goggles of Time Sensing much better than the new version.

Also, THF Paladins would prefer the legacy Antique Greataxe without the chaotic properties causing them a negative level.

    Thanks!

Some old items are still better than new versions.

    Cheers,
    Titus.

yup i mostly wore them on my cleric for wisdom and to be able to give haste in combat.
the legendary version has a clicky again - but at CL5, what is.. pretty stupid for a level 30 item

or make them non-exclusive across basic/epic/legendary. Heroic one made a nice slow canceller.

The Legendary Twisted Talisman is a bad design. Please change it to fewer charges with higher sp. The damage you suffer with each use scales on reaper and really hurts. It is not worth 50sp.

    Cheers,
    Titus.

So initially I thought the same, but tbh the Haste on Epic Goggles of Time Sensing is a nerf compared to current item.

You have full Speed 30% so full uptime of what haste gives you sans 2% movement speed, +1 reflex, and +1 dodge ... but you always have 15% attack speed and 30% movement uptime on goggles.

You lose +3 Spot and Search ... but in the grand scheme of things, thats fairly small imo and you have better insightful wis on new item which makes up some for the lost skills.

New item is better ino although I initially thought as you did.

The old version of the goggles was great for the party buff for hires/summons and other players, though.
I wear a Quiver of Alacrity for the 30% Speed and have the 15% Melee Alacrity slotted elsewhere.

Also signed. Some of us enjoy using lawful characters and would like to have the option of the older Antique Greataxe so we don't incur the negative level penalty.

It's similar to how some folks enjoy the old versions of the Crystal Cove gear that are still available during the event. The older version medium armor Cavalry Plate and the older Spyglass, for example.

Good points all around. It would be nice to have that option on several of the old legacy items.

My paladin just made it to level 20, and I see what you mean about the Antique Greataxe. Hoping the devs can make the legacy items an option.

Legacy items usually mean no longer in game. Pretty sure what is out there is all there is. I doubt SSG would revert those without just changing the current epic item
