Default Radical suggestion: Ranged from horseback

IIRC, I read that mounted combat is available in Lord of the Rings, with the opinion that it was not well done. I can imagine the problems with melee, but perhaps ranged would be not too difficult. Limit it to short bow and at full halt, maybe at alacrity - x? Keep the animation short and simple; arm and bow out, arm back to mount.

I think it would add a lot of spark to the game.

While interesting in theory ... it would "never" work in DDO. Current mounts are large in screen and would take up screen space thus obscuring parties. Why only short bow? what about light xbow?

Anyways, not a fan in general ... there are bigger fish to fry in this game ... meaning don't add things that will add more lag and bugs to the game.

My experience, parties usually scatter in Wilderness Areas, so obscuring would not be a problem. OK, add light xbow.
