    Default Rogue Wraith Hardcore build help

    I've never been that great at builds but this one seems to be doing ok. I wanted wraith for flavor i would rather not remove it or hopefully i don't need to. Trying to just hit 20 on the HC server with mainly inquisitive for damage and wizard for the wraith form. Int based build with 2 dex level ups for IPS later.

    I've tinkered with a few of these wraith builds .... There are a couple ways to approach ...

    Take more wiz levels as well as a third class ...

    Thus Wiz/Rogue/Art for displacement, wraith ghost touch, better negative healing auras, runearms DR and imbues, spellsword imbues ... And once you get FOM either from equipment or a hire ... Sleet storm is great to get SA and CC against trash mobs etc.

    Something like 12/6/x for Wiz/Rogue to get INT to dmg, tensors, and that listed above. Only drawback is getting IPS late in the game.

    I'm really bad at builds so im curious if getting IPS is extremely important if i'm just trying to rush to 20 on the hardcore server. My feats were kind of just there because it seemed like most ranged builds need them. Would it be easier and overall better to do 12/6/2 wiz/rogue/art?

    The average undead multiclass goes for wizard 7 at least to get Death Aura and NEB. Too much of a PITA to keep yourself alive as undead without them. Also lets you take level 6 Pale Master core plus other useful spells.

    But if we're talking hardcore builds, I think you will want more wizard levels just to up the caster level of your spells. You won't have all the crutches from gear etc to prop you up.

    I really just don't know how to properly do it. I usually use other peoples builds cause alot of this goes over my head when it comes to feats and stuff. Numbers confuse me. I can move it to 7 wizard in my build right now i think and still be fine i'll just have to play with it and hope it's still going to work out for me. If IPS ends up not being something i can snag i could trim down my dex stat instead and maybe get different feats.
