Played the last few hours before turn-off. No notices on Ghallanda (or other servers according to other peeps).
I'd call it lazy but I'd also note it's 2am for them so hope they got some sleep beforehand.
Go SSG server farm maintenance people! Peptalk up them hamsters (or kill them and replace them with new shinier hamsters).
I'm tired of long and never-completing load screens.

5 am east coast time Saturday morning servers still down. i hope they get up soon this is prime raiding time.
UPDATE: We are bringing back down the game worlds while we troubleshoot an issue with characters not receiving their proper account unlocks.

It's happening for everyone. They have some issue with looking up what accounts are entitled to. Mine didn't have VIP either, others were reporting things like Ravenloft missing, or bag space they'd purchased, or whatever. Hence the post about them going back down to figure out what is wrong. Good news is that since it seems to be all accounts, likely once they find the issue it'll fix for all accounts. It's also happening to LOTRO so it is universal.

I understand the difficulties the team must be experiencing in this situation with the impact on service levels from the unpredictable outcome of the system. I hope a permanent and working solution can be forged from the dedicated, valued and hard working engineers that power SSG and further strengthen the unique and embracing relationship you have with those passionate and understanding customers. I feel that in going forward together the future will be harmonious and free of issues as I have faith in the excellent levels of competency that is SSG and I don't fully expect I will ever have to engage the support channel again.
I think saying 22 hours is fine is generous, what is going on here is farcical. Might sting a little less is i hadn't successfully been billed $99 earlier this week for a subscription that i can't use. My situation is unusual in that this is the first time in a couple of weeks (game on kids weekends) i have tried to play and my son and my nephew are sitting here looking at the servers down with me
You all obviously did not expect to be down so long, and have been doing your best to fix any issues to get us playing asap. I appreciate the long and frustrating hours you all have put in. It's not like y'all did this on purpose (the delays), and I'm sorry for anyone 'yelling' at you.
