Nerfed in update 42, taking build down. Also don't believe nerfs to pure classes due to multiclassing is healthy for game. Also time bomb is too heavily bugged.

3.8k heroic AoE burst seemed too weak and close to the sustained 5 seconds of caster kensai. Bumped it up to 4.5k AoE burst, and gave it a better AoE burst combo much earlier by level 5 to use for leveling. This seems a good enough place to stop now for a hybrid build.
Added a brick-ton of spell pen in, because apparently not everyone can simply walk into reaper mines of tethymar on a 4 level splash.

After dissecting this build idea over and over, I've come to the conclusion that I don't think this build will suit what I want most out of this. This has a good format but I found your Pally version more intriguing. I'm looking for something, not to just immediately TR, but to take into Epics. If the build is good enough, I'll leave it in Epics for raiding or ETR's.
I'm running a crazy Theory craft right now on him. Final build will be 15 Pally / 3 Monk / 2 FvS. Tempted to go 14 Pally / 4 Fvs / 2 Monk for Soundburst. Dragonborn CHA/STR build using Divine Might. Trying out a Centered Vistani. eh....It may work with the right gear when all the Enhancements are fleshed out....but we'll see. If not, I'll go for the same split and idea, but go back to SWF with Longswords or Khopesh. It's flexible ....which is good.

I went over this build and many of the abilities are on long cooldown timer (15 and 20 seconds..).
Depending on a cooldown of 15 seconds and 20 seconds is going to get you killed. While you are sitting there waiting on timer to come off cooldown you're gonna be having the **** beat out of you.
Also, having to depend on ONE TREE (VKF) that you have to pay $79.99 for to get the collectors ed. of ravenloft and cannot buy just the tree (like falconer) in the store is just a fail.
Are you trying to sell Ravenloft collectors ed. for SSG?
I know you can get VKF but only after getting points (faction) with ravenloft people, which is impossible at level 7.
By the time you get high enough level to get the faction with ravenloft (Barovia) to get VKF for free, how effective will this build be?
You would have to use this on a second life in order for this to work (at level 5 or 7, as above) OR have purchased Ravenloft Coll. Ed..
So this build cannot be used by first lifers who do not have VKF and dont want to pay $79.99 for a collectors ed. of ravenloft.
I swear they need to make a subforum for (ADVANCED VETERAN BUILDS) so first lifers dont read these and think they can just roll these builds.
Per the wiki: VKF will be added to the store for 495 points at a later time. So there is hope for that.
My friendly advice for Tilo, and this is coming from me - a first lifer. Is that when you make builds, try to make some that first lifers can play as well. There are TWO pretty effective builds I have come across as a first lifer that doesnt make me feel like I am struggling through the game and they are both by Voodoo Spyce (his druid and warlock builds).
I mean, contributing to the community with builds is great, but most ive seen coming from you are builds that vets can utilize because they have like 20 past lives and a bunch of raid gear and crafted stuff they can throw on a new alt.
Anyone who has those resources will be able to blow through any content no matter what build they play. Your builds are misleading because when I read about them you say that you "blow through content" in some of them but then I look at what is required and I just do a facepalm.
Thats like saying, getting a 10 bedroom house is easy. All you have to do is go to college for 20 years and get a PHD or have won the lottery!

Hey, Vereran here I guess, I used to collect every single named item I could find, but they turn to trash after 1 or 2 years so I ended up throwing them out, now the only items I use aren’t ravenloft and sometimes I can beg my guildie into crafting something for me. But nothing really beats ravenloft. So old vets and their old raid gear, wrong.
Also sure tilo could make builds for you weak first lifers. But most players aren’t first lifers, after the second life you’re basically cought up anyway. The past life’s actually don’t give much, and it’s not like every buff they give helps out every build.
Also I think Tilo is searching for the best build, not the best build for a first lifer, and if you’re an ungeared first lifer then you need to go get gear. He’s looking at VKF because that might be the loophole to create the ultimate build.
I’m with you Tilo, soundburst is faaar too effective to not use, and in heroics spells do insane damage.
I can’t put my finger on it, maybe it’s not possible but I want and instakilling self sufficient caster that has great AOE spells and then I want to come in and take advantage of everything that is already held. I don’t think you could spread so thin in epics and excel at them all but I think heroics could be doable. Need to be able to solo R2.
The past lives that I think will completely change how builds work are racial past life’s, do you have 12 yet Tilo? Have you thought of any boss builds? The new races have much better enchantments
Lillentle, the smaller Lentle
VKF requires any edition of ravenloft, and is unlocked by favor from ravenloft. This build was for JDCrowell, who is a many year veteran, and who said he already had VKF and who was already a geared FvS player.
I said:
If you are going to walk into elite, you are going to want an elite geared character, such as a heroic slavers set, or cannith crafted set, or RL set. Especially when on a DC caster or melee. This is both, so it can't be escaped like a ranged or ranged dps caster can escape gearing (by relying on no-save dps spells).
It was. Vish and I and others worked one up, but it was not meant to be. I even went out of my way to make a first life version. Fan of Knives is one of the better SLAs in the game for any caster due to damage type, being uncapped, and being additionally scaled by ranged power.
Wiki timers seem wrong.

When it worked, it worked well.
Oh, Fan of Knives doesn't go over lips/bumps/rocks like time bomb, and as such you should make your rogue a tall character, like a human/HOrc/Elf or something, and not a dwarf, gnome, or halfling.
Hmm, in general just avoid short races. If you absolutely have to play a short race, make it a warlock.
