    Would an airship pilot make a good race car driver?

    Don't think so. Most of the airships we see around the city are all just dawdling along.

    If the race cars were built like a massive boat that floated in the air then yes.

    I believe an airship pilot would make an excellent race car driver because if they are able to maneuver an immense vessel like an airship handling the controls of a race car would be child's play.

    Yes, if the racing vehicles were schoolbuses full of whiny, know-it-all & braggart kids, as that would be the similar experience

    No, not really. The airships are large and make slow, wide turns. Cars turn faster and tighter.
