    If I am a Harper then my first assignment will be to find a gullible group of adventurers, get them to do all the dirty work, and show up at the very last moment to grab the glory and especially the loot.

    Now that I think about it, as a Harper this will probably be all of my assignments.

    Well, I just walked into the Harpers Hall for the first time and some authoritative guy looked right at me and said, "Hey you -- I wanna eat off those latrines in the back! So hurry up and get back there!"

    So, I guess that means my first assignment is latrine duty. Yuck.

    At least, I hope that's what he meant... dear gods, please let that be what he meant.
