Mabar on a weekend, nothing like lag induced endless weekends!
I'd go with Mabar.

Festivult
Astreya the Unturning
It's always a shame when the hammer of poor design choices smashes the fun of player tactical adaptation.
Crystal Cove Pirate Party Yarrrrr
Greengrass, and I'd be looking for some worshipers of Chauntea to celebrate with...
Oh! Mabar is my absolute favorite of the festivals on DDO! In many ways, I actually DO celebrate it, in real life, during Halloween, when the veil between the worlds is at its thinnest. I... just don't go around killing the undead. Instead, I spend it honoring those who have passed.
Power corrupts. Absolute power is really kinda neat.

In real life?
Baker's Night.
Wife always complains about the mess I make in the kitchen when experimenting ("You used HOW many different mixing bowls? Why?"), but she usually likes the end result... would fit just fine with the thing that the Church of Silver Flame traditionally does in early Dravago, be an excuse to do that kind of thing.
I'm halfway convinced that our real-life Midsummer would be sort of familiar to a whole bunch of Forgotten Realms people anyway, too.
No longer completely f2p as of November 2014. Father of a few more DDO players.
This alone could be the basis of a quest or entire saga chain. Adventurers are always called upon to stop the spread of disease and death...or wait, maybe that is just clerics and paladins.?Worshipers of the orc deity Yurtrus celebrate the Ceremony of Contagion with bloody sacrifices and then quest to spread disease and deathMidsummer was a festival that celebrated love and music through feast. It occurred between 30 Flamerule and 1 Eleasis on the Calendar of Harptos. It was a time when love advanced, and it was said the deities themselves took a hand to ensure good weather. If bad weather was experienced on this night it was considered an extremely bad omen. Shieldmeet occurred the day after Midsummer on leap years.Above info from Forgotten Realms WIKI.
