Paralysing Arrows seem to have been now recoded to actually being Paralysing weapons. Paralysing weapons never worked on Elementals, Undead, Constructs and Duergar because D&D chose to make them Immune to Paralysis. Not sure about the GH mobs you mentioned.
Multiple arrow imbues were a bug.
Imbuing Handwraps? You just made Tyler Do'urden sad.
Hi,
The paralyse everything imbue was fun while it lasted, but from the moment it appeared it seemed like an accident which was going to be fixed sooner or later.
Like other posters have said, there are many monster types which are normally immune to paralysis, and there is no reason the AA effect should work any differently to a paralysing weapon.
I doubt that this is what you want to hear, but the best thing to do now is take a deep breath and calm down. There is no point getting this upset about bugs like paralysis and exploits like multiple elemental imbues being fixed, and even less point in starting thread after thread about it.
Threatening in-game protests over bug fixes of this sort is ridiculous. A well-played ranger or monkcher can still make a very strong contribution to their groups. My main and others like him have been for years, and I'm sure yours can too.
Thanks.
lol wow.. .i don't even know where to start...
ah well... *wades in*
sounds to me like someone was playing a "omg AAs are OP nao!!!" FotM and now that things are FIXED... they think they're nerfed. go find the new FotM... you don't deserve to play an AA. stop giving the good ones a bad name.

Q: how do you get me to appear in a thread? A: ask a bard question! XD
I am going to suggest that you don't bother with AC at all, focus on Blur, Ghostly, Displacement, and Dodge % items, they will do better for you as a ranger.
Also, as far as Resists go, if you are talking about Elemental Resist items like Acidproof, and the like, I would suggest this to be a situational item as opposed to something worn all the time.
If you are talking about a "Saves" resist item, then saves don't stack, so it's redundant, you can free up some spots here for Heal Amp, and Heal Amp is always a good investment.
Also, Accuracy is a waste of a slot, just slot Deadly and seeker.
Also, if space to get in the effects you want is a problem, and look into Augments, with Augments, Typical Loot-gen can add up to 4 slots to your character, IE: 2 base effects and 2 augment slots.
So that should help you quite a bit. I realize that fixes feel like nerfs, but is the nature of bugs and features™, sometimes they get fixed, and when that happens we have to put on our big boy pants and deal.
I think folks should keep in mind that OP is likely a relatively new player who has been given VERY bad advice since the two Fight Club issues he mentions are unlikely to be something he came up with himself. So rather than telling him how terrible he is, I suggest confining comments to those which can improve his play without the mockery. Some folks have done that in this thread and by do so have shown themselves to be better AA Rangers than some of the others.

It's hard to tell if the OP's AA is bad or not as I can't see where he says what level it is.
My level 26 Ranger just walked up to the training dummy and I can't make it do less than 90 damage per shot without buffs, and I'm a pretty casual gamer and collector of equipment.
He left the name, at which the world grew pale.
Dear Developers,
The whole point is fun. If the DM makes the play too hard for the PCs, they will loose the fun and there will be no player after a while. I love playing ranger but it is difficult to solo with them and frequently I cant progress anymore. Besides being a bug or exploit mutiple imbuing was a way to leverage the Arcane Archer. I'm very sorry about the stupid decision (to "fix" multiple imbues) and I hope you reconsider or other way to fix ranger weakeness in the next update. I will be there in the protest!
With all due respect, if you are having difficulty soloing with your Arcane Archer Ranger, rather than address the developers I would suggest addressing other players. If you provide your fellow players with both a detailed description of your character including stats, feats, gear etc, as well as the specific details of the difficulties you are encountering, you may gain valuable insights on how to improve your character.
Dear Turbine.
Its still fun to stand on piles of previously killed mobs to get better bow shots at soon to be killed mobs. Nothing is wrong with AA, there was just too many people who built them when the abilities were broke in a way that could be used in a not WAI fashion to gain even further advantage than an AA already has. Please buff bards and barbarians, as no more attention to AA is currently needed.
